Launches
Can we have some rules here.
People are saying "Oh I launched this", "Oh I put a geosynchronous satellite over the north pole", "Oh I just went to a parallel universe and back, is tea ready?"
This is annoying.
We should post about probes and satellites being launched first, once I have MAS databases up and running I will be enforcing this kind of thing, stopping people making random trips and whatever.
Also Realism.
Be real.
Basically a rule is that if it hasn't been done on Earth It's unlikely that it's being done on Micras. There are exceptions, e.g. visiting Pluto (or similar) Earth is currently doing this so it's sorta ok... but at least give a delay time rather than saying "I launched a probe", "it's there" and also things that Earth can realistically do with current tech but lack funding.
examples:
1)Huge Lasers in space: No, not really. Sure it was in James Bond, Sure it's cool, Sure it was the basis of the American Star wars missile defense system. but it's currently impossible to do without getting a vague point of light that you can't really aim. America's spent years putting a single laser on a Boeing, you aren't going to have a laser network up overnight.
(And yes, I did actually want a Laser network but it's not possible)
2)Regular visits and permanent bases on the moon: Yes,The Earth sure as hell can do it, they've landed there before then gave up for more reliable craft and they're going back and they plan to have bases by 2020. This means it's most definitely possible and rather easy [comparatively]
(No, Apollo wasn't faked, go harass someone other than NASA)
3)Visits to other stars: Generally no. It's not really possible on earth without we build the LHC instantly and then collect the anti-matter for thousands of years. Technically, yeah we could make an interstellar craft now, nuclear powered would be great... but it'll take hundreds of years and no ones sure if humans can reproduce properly in space, so I guess you could do such a mission but I'd expect a wait of a year or so before you can say you've got there.
4)Searches for ET/exoplanets: Sure, Just don't expect to find much unless GSO and MCS come to an agreement on where we are in relation to each other, if GSO is within 2000 light years then a GSO nation might be able to pick up a message from Shireroth (being the oldest nations on the map) or some long dead nation, but that would require MCS and GSO agreeing to be in the same universe, which seems difficult to say the least.
Exoplanets are fine though, we do on earth and we know of over 200 so go for it... but don't say every star has planets
5)Space stations: Sure, we have on earth and it's pretty good
6)Reusable craft: Sure, we have at least 2 types built on earth and at least 1 type in the process of being built
7)Detailed Spy satellites: Sure, we have ones that can see a washing machine, orbiting mars. But it'd be nice if you told me, I wouldn't tell anyone (If you're spying against me I still need to work it all out, perhaps CIS could pretend we don't know you're there, and as no one else in CIS would it wouldn't be hard to pretend)
Space Elevator: Not unless you get every nation on Micras to work together and sign some form of treaty
9)Artificial moons, planets, stars, death stars whatever: Not star wars.
10)I don't know any other examples really... please don't blow up each others nations without knowing the other guy will agree?
P.S. I don't want to ruin everyones fun, and the rules will probably get a bit loose but I want some order and I want some realism...

16 mili-parsecs / h = 16/1000 * 3 light years / h ... 1/20 * 10mln km / h = 500000 km/h...

- I told 100000? I meant 1 000 000!
