[Application] Zatriarchate of Matbaa
[Application] Zatriarchate of Matbaa
Name of Micronation: Zatriarchate of Matbaa
Your Name: Maximos Qutreh Bar Idwharioun, in Matbaic terms
Your E-Mail or Contact(s):you got it
Date of Founding: 2nd of December 2005
Date of Death: January 2008
Highest Level of Citizenship: Eight actives
Government Type: Theocracy
Last Head of State: His All Holiness Zatriarch Guido I- it was his second time as Zatriarch, the first being as Ostatheos III, I believe (though as Guido, he was technically last head of the Ecumenical Synody of Matbaa, which I had little or nothing to do with).
Cosignees: I'm really the only one left who could be bothered to sign, so here we are- Maximos
National Flag or Standard:
Brief Description of Micronation: Assyrian Orthodox Theocracy, centred around the Matbaic Orthodox Assyrian Church of the East
Brings back some good times, eh Sfeir? I don't understand exactly how the foundation does what it does and am surprised I hadn't applied to preserve the Zatriarchate before, but I hope you do whatever is in your power to preserve MatbaaWiki and the other great cultural works myself and so many other former Matbaics are proud of.
Visited an Assyrian Orthodox Church in Jerusalem the other day and was taken back too all the research I did for the Zatriarchate... I can safely say, after even checking the Portuguese and Polish micronational sectors, we were the only Assyrian micronation ever to have existed. Makes you think how quickly this hobby moves on when you see most of the nations we interacted with as Matbaa are now dead.
Barekhmor Marth Bait Nahrain!
Regards,
Maximos

Re: [Application] Zatriarchate of Matbaa
I was the last head of state of the Zatriarchate. The Zatriarchate became the Vatican essentially holding only Matbaa city, witht he rest being held by the Synody

Re: [Application] Zatriarchate of Matbaa
So, that said, the chain of Zatriarchs went:
Maximillideus I
Sfeir VI
Ostatheos III
Mikaelos-Sfeir I (i.e you)
Is that correct?

Sfeir VI
Ostatheos III
Mikaelos-Sfeir I (i.e you)
Is that correct?

Yes that would appear correct, although needless to say the first lasted much much longer than any of the others.
This application is approved, Matbaa's wealth of culture certainly deserves Foundation preservation.
