Even if it was on centre, it would still cover all of HamlandLewis wrote:Can I also point out how ridiculously powerful that radar is? And how the circle is off centre coincidentally making it cover all of Hamland.

That's fine then.
I still stand by the fact that if we do something for our belief; it's an outrage and only a couple of nations will openly say we're alright to do so. But if a nation is going to put a radar base up next to us, send in a military force and are going to support terrorist organisations then it's ok, because we're Hamland. If people openly think that nations shouldn't be allowed to be run as they please and we shouldn't try to help others then I guess Hamland's a pretty lonely place to be.

The Empire of the Alexandrians kindly requests the Britannic Empire as well as the Kingdom of Nova England to allow us to send a small delegation of technicians and operators, as well as financial and technological support for the protection and construction of this radar.

As current Exarch of the New Brittanian territories of Nova England and Commander in Chief of the Britannic armed forces I give my permission for Alexandrian technicians and operators to attend the radar station and welcome all assitance in protecting and constructing the installation. In the case of protection however i believe we would have to consult His Majesty the King of Nova England before allowing any further foreign military units into the territory.

It can't be illegal, principally because there are no laws...General Fitzurse wrote:It's not illegal or anything, it's a precautionary step. It could help prevent attacks by mainly aircraft on either nations, and also help to protect the Virgin Islands, an area we strive to develop. And I myself have put work into.
It's not that I'm contending, ntoice the 'that' in italics. It's stupid having it with that range.

It isn't silly to have a radar with that range - it is just that building a site capable of housing a radar that powerful would be a major project akin to RAF Flyingdales/Menwith Hill even considering the condensed time-spans inherent in micronational simulation.
AWAC and mobile ground based radars would be more appropriate in the interim albeit liable only to give coverage of the borders and those areas accessible from international waters. In either case the Virgin Isles remain an excellent location
