Possibly not relevant, but it's here anyway
http://www.fra1.net/news/2010/12/21/fis ... -from-oam/
I'm afraid it looks like that this makes MCS-OAM integration more unlikely.

Madness! *throws shoe* *pounds table* Blasphemy! TEAR DOWN YOUR WALLLL!!!
But seriously, this is terrible. Will you be remaining in micronations and/or A1? Is there a possibility that your successor could be as receptive to the idea as yourself?

A1 will still exist of course and this does not affect A1's internal or MCS affairs at all, I'm happy to report
I hope that my successor is as receptive, but I wouldn't hold much hope. The anti-Micras 'lobby' in that community is getting more and more powerful, coinciding with a general degradation of the entire community, which is why I just got sick of dealing with idiots. To be honest, Micras and internal affairs is a lot more fun and rewarding

Ouch. Sounds like you've had a tough time. I hope taking a break works out for you. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Phillip, it's a stage that all communities go through. Taking some time out is always a good idea. Hope things work themselves out!
Re: Possibly not relevant, but it's here anyway
I definitely like your attitude for sure . It is unfortunate that such a thing is happening, but I suppose it was bound to happen. It is good to hear that you're not leaving the hobby though, and perhaps you can return to the OAM in time to continue the efforts between the MCS and the OAM.Philip Fish wrote:A1 will still exist of course and this does not affect A1's internal or MCS affairs at all, I'm happy to report

Thank you all for your kind words

I'm sorry to see Fish leave the OAM but don't worry. I'm implementing a New Agenda so when you come back, the OAM will be prosperous and progressive once again.

Awwww, he's going through that phase where he's trying to insist he's not coming back to the hobby while still posting on hobby-related boards. They're so cute at that age!

No harvey, he's saying he's not going back to OAM while posting on MCS.
His second post in the thread is him saying he's gonna become more involved in MCS.

Right. Micronationalist without a country that's still talking about his home country. I totally didn't call this one right.

Pretty sure he's only stopped his OAM participation - he's still well and truly involved with A1
