Craitland began the match with a few notable changes from their thrashing of Mailong, swapping their three central midfielders, while the Senyans started arguably their strongest line-up at the current time. While the packed-out Revolution Road stadium's atmosphere was electric, the football of the first stages was not. Mistimed passes and poor control abounded throughout both teams. However, the crowd didn't have to wait too long for the opening goal, as the first genuine attack finished in success. Jan Mikelt, whose performances this term have all but assure his place in Interland, outmanœuvred Karl Rœč out wide to make his way to the bye-line, before laying the ball backwards into the area, where domestic teammate Hänä Zensen was arriving to open his body and sidefoot the ball into the opposing bottom corner of the net from just behind the penalty spot. Almost with immediate response, Senya hit back, but Îdœntlîk Kelogzkrunčënut's shot was deflected well wide by Jon Larsen. Craitland doubled their lead on the half-hour mark, thanks to record appearance maker Yaqin Senovichi's composed finish. Marking his 94th cap, the Aztecs' talisman, was on hand to put the ball in the net after a clever touch inside after gaining possession of the ball following a deflected attempted clearance by Rödë Vankarlënœ from Tiem Jones' low corner. Senya did worry the Craits just before the end of the half, as Alesandrœ Danetskë was expertly played through by Jan Maytek, but Oscar Senovichi, who is hotly tipped to be Craitland's number one this summer, closed the forward down and took the ball before he could shoot.
Following two half-time changes by the visitors, which saw débuts being made by 'keeper Tim Ula and defender Will Jonsen, Senya created more chances than before. However, this only happened once Craitland yet again extended their lead after only three minutes. Scorer of the opener, Zensen, helped assist the team's third, playing a pass-and-go with Jones, and chipped a pass forward over the Senyan defence. Tim Isrdlvarien evaded the offside trap attempt, chest-controlled the ball and side-foot volleyed past Sileman Bɏankarlënœ from close range. Senya created a number of half-chances after the goal, but only two made the 'keeper work. Barnaby Hands was tackled unfairly by Jon Larsen, who was booked, and a freekick was awarded within shooting distance. Hands took a shot, but his effort was palmed over by an outstretched Ula. The second worthwhile chance had more effect on the game as Senya put a consolation into the net with 16 minutes to go. Ƨinkœ Zvet's early ball downfield was tapped across first time by Danetskë and substitute Čerder Vosin was there ahead of Jonsen to nudge the ball in the direction of the back post and in past Ula's reach. While Senya never looked to threaten the score after Vosin's goal, the Craits also failed to look inventive and Ben Viĵoa was carded in the last minutes after losing the ball in a tackle and having a nip at Aleks Mëa as he took the ball away. NAPI-based Tobias Vorgensen was also called-upon near the end to earn his second Craitish cap, with Sesker Moskver also having the same treatment for the hosts.
Although never a game to live long in the memory, Zyx Dermäna's mind must be being made-up more than before thanks to players' performances, while Senya will now look forward to their first ever FMF tournament with mixed feelings given the results of their warm-up games.
