Senya vs. Craitland (08/02)
*Played 8th February*
Senya 2-1 Craitland
6' - F. Gaärsen
51' - Ƨ. Zvet
58' - J. Maytek
Two goals in the earlier stages of the second half edged Senya past Craitland in the battle of the previous and next World Cup hosts. On his 150th cap, Freddie Gaärsen scored an early goal, sweeping home after a rapid move from Jan Mortensen which caught the Senyan defence unaware. Lydveldt Jonmikeltsen was kept at bay before the break by Sileman Bɏankarlënœ in a half primarily dominated by the Craits. After half time, the home side took the initiative, with Ƨinkœ Zvet breaking free to power past Johansen soon after the restart. The Senyans, with the bit between their teeth, took the lead just before the hour, with Barnaby Hands' chipped ball inside being finished on the half-volley by Jan Maytek in a move displaying why they will be among the favourites in the summer. Despite the quick succession of goals, Senya couldn't add to their lead, nor could Craitland level it, for the remainder of the match, although Hands went closest by forcing a save onto the frame of the goal by Johansen in the final ten minutes.
