Craitland vs. Lakkvia (19/04)
*Played 19th April*
Craitland 3-1 Lakkvia
18' - W. Zóma
29' - F. Gaärsen
67' - T. Gamst-Pedersen
72' - L. Jonmikeltsen
Craitland received a confidence boost with a friendly win over a Lakkvia team already guaranteed of their place in Senya this summer, with their own progression not yet secured. Winger Markko Christiansen made his début after being called-up due to his consistent form in Gerenia this season, with Jón Zyxveldtsen being sidelined due to his suspension for the next qualifier, and found himself instrumental in taking the lead. A bombing run forward culminated with a low delivery which skipped past Freddie Gaärsen and came to Will Zóma at the far post to calmly sidefoot home, before another forward march ten minutes later started a passing move inside that led to Olivier Dermäna's well-timed through-ball being swept home by Gaärsen for a second. The goalscoring partnership was replaced at half time, with the Lakkvians' first threatening attacks coming just before the hour. Sfein Lideraijun broke forward midway through the half before finding Tommy Gamst-Pedersen, whose powerful shot from the edge of the box was never in doubt of beating Tim Ula, but the Craits instantaneous response killed the game. Substitutes Aidan Keĵinz and Lydveldt Jonmikeltsen teamed-up, with the former creating room with good hold-up play before assisting the latter for a simple finish from mere feet away from the net. Hänä Zensen's testing effort tipped over by Miklu Loresen was the closest the match came to another score, but the 3-1 was seen out at the end and Craitland must now take this form into their final two qualifying fixtures to stand a chance of reaching a record eleventh finals, where Lakkvia will be waiting for them should they do it.
