Alexandria hosted Senya on a rainy evening in Geneva. The hosts looked in good shape but Tamer Modrem was unlucky not to score within the first five minutes, after his header from close range was saved. A nervy first half-hour for the visitors was shown when a slip from Maksim Ĵerzënyœ allowed Yannick Ancelin to have a 1-on-1 with the goalkeeper and slot the ball home to give his side the lead. However on the stroke of half-time, a free-kick on the edge of the area was lashed home by Barnaby Hands to level things up after he had been brought down by Cyril Kopaczewski. The second half started in frantic fashion, and a goalmouth scramble following a free-kick allowed for sub Michel Simoneaux to pounce on a loose ball and smash it into the back of the net from 6 yards out. The visitors though are the form team in Micras and were able to find an equaliser after a great piece of build up play, practically penning Alexandria inside the final third, ended up with a Barnaby Hands cross behind met by the head of Alesandrœ Danetskë, who found the top left corner. The game finished off though with a flurry of activity, firstly Jær Van Kotrisbond was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the area when bringing the ball down under control, but Florent Lassana-Traoré's penalty was saved by the goalkeeper, before minutes later Jean-Alain Foucault bought down Jan Maytek in the box, with Barnaby Hands this time converting the penalty, to hand Senya a win.
