The Senyan Top League will be expanding to 12 teams for the 2018-19 season. The new format will see all teams play each other home and away, before the league is split into two halves, a championship group of the top six teams and a relegation group of the bottom six teams. Following the split, points will be halved and any half points will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
To accomodate for the new change, the 2017-18 season will four teams promoted from the Second League, with 5th in the Second League playing 8th in the Top League for the final spot in the 2018-19 Top League. In the Second, Third and Fourth leagues, the top 4 will be promoted with the 5th placed team playing a play-off against the 8th placed team in the league above. The champions of the Western League, Eastern League, the new Svorgas League and the Kolgradliga will all be promoted at the end of the 2016-17 season, with the runners-up of each league playing a play-off, with the winners of that play-off playing the 8th placed side in the Fourth League for a place in the 2017-18 Senyan Fourth League.
The 2016-17 season will see the Kolgradliga being promoted to Level 5 on the pyramid.
From the 2018-19 season, the Top League will run as previously mentioned, whilst the Second, Third and Fourth leagues will all run as they currently do. The only exception is that in the Fourth League, the bottom side will automatically be relegated, with the champions of the four Level 5 leagues playing a play-off series for promotion.
