Re: 2017 Colney Cup
Senya 1-1 Birgeshir
35' Meht-Naskhti Körtalojk
68' Kiket Volinsk
Hosts Senya began their campaign against Birgeshir. The hosts came close to taking the lead in the opening moments when Rosëvanderlöp Sanergöner found Gatkan Remōs with a ball into the box, but the Vōnam Svorgas man could only put the ball wide of Sipthah Göthun's goal. The deadlock was only broken by the visitors in the latter half of the first period, as the ball fell to Meht-Naskhti Körtalojk in the box, who smashed the ball into the bottom-right corner beyond the goalkeeper. The Senyans had to re-group at the break and found an equaliser midway through the first half, with Kiket Volinsk beating the off-side trap to slot the ball beyond the keeper. However, neither side could find anymore joy, as the game fizzled out to a draw.
Hoenn 3-2 Stormark
2' Shinji Yoritomo
45'+2' Sigurgeir Eldarsson
58' Kaji Shiba
73' John Lee Gutierrez
89' Sigtyr Álfgeirsson
Hoenn started this match off with the perfect start, with Shinji Yoritomo nicking the ball off of Astvar Syrusson, who slipped on the ball, before racing in, rounding the keeper, and tucking the ball into an empty net, all within the first 85 seconds. Stormark's defence soon switched on though, and a first half-fought mainly in the midfield was almost left with fans wanting more, that was until Sigurgeir Eldarsson smashed home a free-kick in stoppage time to bring the game to life. The second half came to life in dramatic fashion, as Hedinn Hljómursson was hauled down in the box by Junpei Asahina, but only for Gyrdir Harlaugursson to miss the resulting spot kick. A sigh of relief for Hoenn, who following this started to take control of the game and re-took the lead when Kaji Shiba poked home a cross from Yoshi Kakita. Hoenn doubled their advantage a quarter-hour later with John Lee Gutierrez heading home from a corner. Stormark did pull a goal back late on when Sigtyr Álfgeirsson poked the ball home during a melee in the box, but unfortunatly for him and his team, it wasn't enough to steal any points from Hoenn.
Vyktory 0-3 Craitland
10' Jon-Lydveldt F'echhamlär
79' Jon-Lydveldt F'echhamlär
85' Erlaņ Darcq
A late Vyktory collapse handed all three points to a rampant Craitland side in Northend. Jon-Lydveldt F'echhamlär had handed Craitland an early lead with a volley from outside the box, but Vyktory's tiredness under constant Craitish pressure meant they struggled to compete, and eventually another finish from the ZK man alongside a goal from Erlaņ Darcq handed the Craites a convincing opening day win.
Passio-Corum 1-2 Kingdom of Coria
13' Ilija Bojevic
49' Miomir Bojanic
78' Carlos Avila
Coria's first foray into any type of international competitive football started off with a win in front of their boisterous following, an estimated 1,000 of whom had taken the trip to Svorgas. Ilija Bojevic became the man to go down in the history books as the scorer of Coria's first ever goal in an international fixture as he ran through early on and slid the ball between goalkeeper Jose Igancio Munoz's legs. Both sides were unable to find a goal for the remained of the half but Coria doubled their advantage just minutes into the second half, with Miomir Bojanic firing low past the goalkeeper to make it 2-0. Passio-Corum did pull a goal back later in the half through a Carlos Avila free-kick, but couldn't find another as they fell to a 2-1 defeat.
Re: 2017 Colney Cup
Birgeshir 1-2 Gerenia
24' Ärige Trehat
63' Konstantîn Saitarade
88' Hapi Kırmænojk
A late strike for Birgeshir turned out to be a consolation after two goals in either half gave Gerenia a win. Ärige Trehat gave the Gerenians the lead midway through the first half after shifting the ball onto his stronger foot before unleashing an effort which found the bottom left corner from 12 yards out. In the second, Konstantîn Saitarade's dipping strike from 30 yards found the top corner, only for substitute Hapi Kırmænojk to cause a tense finale after heading home from a corner.
Stormark 3-0 Fort Kolgrad
18' Gyrdir Harlaugursson
73' Hedinn Hljómursson
82' Preben Fjærestadt
Stormark ran out 3-0 winners in a one-sided victory in Group B. Gyrdir Harlaugursson was in the box after 17 minutes and elected to take the spot-kick. Although it was saved, he was able to thump home the rebound to give his side the lead. In the second half, a calm and low strike from Hedinn Hljómursson doubled Stormark's advantage, before Preben Fjærestadt completed the rout by heading home following a corner routine.
Craitland 3-0 Alexandria
30' Jon-Lydveldt F'echhamlär
35' Cräiĵaär Zen
81' Craitman Dóral
Craitland rounded off their second 3-0 win of the group stage as they booked their place in the semi-finals. Jon-Lydveldt F'echhamlär's strike on the half hour mark gave them the lead, as Alexandria were never really in control. Five minutes later Cräiĵaär Zen headed a second, before substitute Craitman Dóral rounded the keeper late on to book Craitland's passage to the semis.
Mercury 2-2 Passio-Corum
16' George Armstrong
48' Michiel de Brujin
53' Greg Baker
68' Ethan Hayes
George Armstrong gave Mercury an early lead in this game as he volleyed in from the edge of the "D". However, a strong start to the second half saw Passio-Corum turn things round, first with Michiel de Brujin flicking home a cross from sub Greg Baker, before the pair combined again before Baker this time leashed a strike from 20 yards that flew into the top corner. Ethan Hayes came on to jab home an equaliser for Mercury, but they couldn't get a winner as the game finished out being 2-2.
Re: 2017 Colney Cup
Gerenia 1-0 Senya
71' Mikkel Desarge
A single second half strike from Mikkel Desarge was enough to give Gerenia a win against Senya in the final game of Group A, to give the Gerenians top spot in the group whilst consigning Senya to the 9-12th place play-offs. Despite a very even fixture throughout and the home team experience a very vocal and fiery support, a dummy and a low drive from Desarge twenty minutes from time was enough to defeat the hosts.
Fort Kolgrad 1-6 Hoenn
20' Shinji Yoritomo
41' Kaji Shiba
58' Stefan Frei
63' Shinji Yoritomo
72' Shinji Yoritomo
79' Croy Hayashi
83' Kaji Shiba
A rampant Hoenn side secured top spot of the Group after crushing a hapless Fort Kolgrad team 6-1 in Grokhim. After their 3-0 defeat to Stormark in the last round of fixtures, Fort Kolgrad started poorly again, and fell behind when Shinji Yoritomo broke through the defence to slot home beyond the keeper. Kaji Shiba headed a second before half time to make the score 2-0. Sub Stefan Frei pulled a goal back in the second half through a curling free-kick from 25 yards but two neat finishes from Yoritomo secure his hat-trick and the result, pulling his side 4-1 up. Croy Hayashi's overhead kick and a free-kick from Shiba rounded off a phenomenal result for Hoenn, who march into the semi-finals, where they'll play Gerenia.
Alexandria 0-1 Vyktory
22' Oliver North
A first half strike was all that Vyktory needed as they secure second place in their group with a 1-0 win over Alexandria. After both sides had lost 3-0 to Craitland, a penalty shoot-out was on the cards in case the game was drawn, but North's volley from 15 yards was enough to hand Vyktory the victory in this Group C encounter.
Kingdom of Coria 0-2 Mercury
31' Daniel Hannerby
45' Nick Cooke
Mercury booked their place in the semi-finals with a confident 2-0 win over Coria. Defender Daniel Hannerby headed home after coming up for a corner before Nick Cooke calmly rounded the goalkeeper as the scoring was done by half-time.

Re: 2017 Colney Cup
9th-12th Place Play-off
Senya 3-0 Fort Kolgrad
23' Gatkan Remōs
55' Gatkan Remōs
71' Kiket Volinsk
A goal either side of half-time for Gatkan Remōs and a header from Kiket Volinsk saved the hosts Senya from further embarrassment at the Colney Cup as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Fort Kolgrad to book their place in the 9th place play-off.
5th-8th Place Play-offAlexandria 1-2 a.e.t. Passio-Corum
20' Javier Oliviera
84' Lance Rowley
106' Patrick Armstrong
Passio-Corum needed extra time to see off Alexandria. Javier Oliviera had put the Alexandrians ahead with a free-kick in the first half but a late equaliser by Lance Rowly brought the game to an extra 30 minutes. Patrick Armstrong bundled home a goal 41 seconds into the second half of extra time to give Passio-Corum the win.
Birgeshir 2-2 a.e.t. (5-3 pens) Stormark
19' Meht-Naskhti Körtalojk
25' Kjell Thorstvedt
66' Nofre-Ka-U Pabasojk
72' Hedinn Hljómursson
Penalty shoot-out:
Hapi Kırmænojk - Scored
Hedinn Hljómursson - Scored
Meht-Naskhti Körtalojk - Scored
Thorfin Ughtyngton - Saved
Nofre-Ka-U Pabasojk - Scored
Kjell Thorstvedt - Scored
Kekara Tëkojk - Scored
Sigurgeir Eldarsson - Scored
Dhouti Demircikojk - Scored
Birgeshir needed penalties to defeat Stormark in an enthralling tie. Meht-Naskhti Körtalojk gave them the lead early on with a well placed shot but they were pegged back within minutes thanks to Kjell Thorstvedt's free-kick. Nofre-Ka-U Pabasojk restored their lead midway through the first half but again within minutes Hedinn Hljómursson slotted home to make it 2-2. The hosts kept their nerve though in the shoot-out, coming out on top 5-3.
Semi-FinalsVyktory 1-0 Kingdom of Coria
28' Oliver North
A first half volley from Oliver North was all that was needed to seperate the teams on the night.
Gerenia 4-0 Hoenn
10' Pavel Maharen
39' Pavel Maharen
62' Pavel Maharen
75' Hays Rasev
Pavel Maharen grabbed a hat-trick as Gerenia thrashed Hoenn in the first of the semi-finals. Maharen opened his account with a shot from distance that beat a scrambling Naoki Yamada, before beating the defender to the ball from a cross to head home a second. He found his third in the second half after racing away from the defence, before sub Hays Rasev completed the rout with a free-kick from the edge of the box.
Craitland 2-1 a.e.t. Mercury
6' Jon Farmer
31' Jon-Lydveldt F'echhamlär
95' Jon-Lydveldt F'echhamlär
Jon-Lydveldt F'echhamlär continued to set the Colney Cup on fire by scoring a brace that helped Craitland secure an appearance in the final. Jon Farmer had put Mercury in front early on but the ZK man fired an equaliser low into the bottom corner to level. Extra time was eventually needed in an enthralling tactical battle, and F'echhamlär came up with the winning goals five minutes into it, with a low drive from inside the penalty box.

Re: 2017 Colney Cup

Yeah, but at the same time it's probably the most visually easier ways to represent who scores. I do keep the wiki article updated, so the full list of scorers and goal times can be found there.Deniz Yürük wrote:The white color doesn't work well here. It makes some scorers disappear.
