Özker on the move?
Tellian double World Cup winner Sezer Özker is reportedly weighing-up options on the future of his career after two clubs are thought to have had bids for him accepted by his club.
Having signed for Caputia's Garrak Athletic earlier this summer as a free agent following the collapse of Hamland's domestic setup, the 26 year-old has performed well in the Premier Cup competition; continuing the tremendous form he showed in this summer's World Cup, where he was an unsuccessful nominee for the golden ball award after helping Tellia to a second victory following a period of international isolation.
With his move to FC Garrak from Romero Sport in 2012, after Tellia's first World Cup triumph, hitting the Cr 28 million fee mark, the bids received for him this time are thought to dwarf that amount and be in excess of Cr 30 million. While the bidding clubs remain officially anonymous, reports suggest they are from the highest divisions of Mercury and Senya, and within a nominal amount of one another in value.
Özker of course has the third option of rejecting both offers and remaining with Athletic, but with the fledgling Caputian football society still establishing itself, the draw of a more stable club and league is likely to be too much to ignore for the play-maker.
