A proposition
Seeing as it took too long for the Amokolian War to agree on war conditions: I have a proposition to make. Each nation must have a list answering the few basic questions required before a recwar. That way, once a nation wants to wage war, the only things that must be agreed on are the points that th...

Re: Secret Moves
That is what I meant as well, except without getting any third parties. Chances are, when the discussion is taking place between the attacker and defender, then their allies are likely to give their input as well. True, but in that case the final decision should come from the two combatants, or the...

Re: Weather
I like the idea, but there needs to be a set time. If the war lasts for X days, the judge can't just predict how long the war will last. They would have to post a one week forecast at the beginning of each week, or something along those lines. That sounds like a much better idea than "the weather is...

Re: Secret Moves
in reply to Monty's comment: By detrimental, I meant inflicting damages or something that affects the enemy directly. Moving your troops around wouldn't necessarily affect your enemy (especially if my land troops were moving inland, and your navy was off battling an ally, or something along those li...

Re: Secret Moves
I would think first that the judge should respond by saying whether the attack can proceed as planned or not. In the case that the judge is inactive and not responded, then either: 1. Attack cannot be made. 2. Ask the defender if the attack would be allowed. In the latter case, it allows the attack...

Re: Secret Moves
My personal theory (disagree if you will) is that no matter if you're supposed to know about the attack or not, once you know about it, it will factor into your planning, no matter how little. You can't un-know about it. Ex: If I say I'm sending 500 men (in 100 man groups yadda yadda yadda) secretly...

Secret Moves
I figure I'm a little late bringing this up, but secret moves. They are the backbone of several armies' strategies, and can make or break a war. Now what defines a good secret move? Previously this has been defined as (in the annuia convention posted by Andreas at http://www.micras.org/forum/viewtop...

A burp was heard from beneath the waves. Summary: Grateful sharks devour the paddling Scalziin. several thuds were heard. 'Dumb sharks'. SUMMARY: non-orbatted units can't hurt orbatted ones. Several sharks die. no scalziin are hurt. Summary B: Not amusing. Any further attempt will be met with somet...

Re: Longbow of Toketi
another point i would like to make: http://www.micras.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=428&start=15 read through that. after you're done, you'll have noticed that since initial casualties were still under debate, i was stuck in the mud unable to do anything. For mostly the entire war. And the end resu...

Request to question most secret moves that he's made. you all have seen the ungodly amount of missiles, rockets, bombs, etc. Extreme's launched at various tokian and novan cities. Since he certainly doesn't have hundreds of missiles, rockets, whatever stashed on each sub, he would have to be getting...
