Re: Inactive Nations
I will not be writing the page after all. Once I get my linux machine networked I'll upload what little changes I have made since the update to the server and you can do as you wish. I just ask that you keep up the change log and version numbering as I have, in case.

Re: Hamland Considering
It's really easy. Make an account for your Government, like "Hamland Treasury" or such, and register it for Hamland. Andreas will put starting funds into that account. That account will be given certain access privileges and such, including the ability to modify subdivisions, and a few other things....

Re: Inactive Nations
Just because a nation leaves the MCS doesn't mean they have necessarily left the SCUE. Might want to check on that.
On a side note: 2 weeks for the page you wanted. I'm in the middle of moving and that's the soonest I'm likely to get to it. So, have patience.

Re: How do we want to handle this.
I'm a little worried about banks.... but yes. Businesses and casinos and stuff. Right now all I'm supporting is transfers. I will likely support more options as time goes on.
But yes. How do we want to handle how and who we give access to the Interface?

Re: Let's talk inflation.
The SCUE has 0 that I know if. It is a lot of money Andreas. But I don't see the SCUE using that much any time soon. I expect that money will take 3-4 years to even come close to being depleted. Maybe longer. Think of it this way, it'll simulate real world inflation. We can use it to manipulate curr...

How do we want to handle this.
Someone requested an 'API' for the bank allowing outside programs to interact with it. Assuming someone pays for the work, I'm going to do it. To go with this I am going to have the bank generate API keys that someone must present to the bank for an interaction to happen. 1. Do we want the admin to ...

Re: Let's talk inflation.
The money for the SCUE is for long term increase. The SCUE won't need to collect dues, but it can use the money to pay out awards and salaries and stuff, and thus slowly increase the total in circulation. It's not really what I wanted, but I'm not sure what I wanted was a good idea anymore. And Mike...

Re: Let's talk inflation.
Double Post! x100 would bring total funds to 110 million. the 500million would be use for a slower increase that won't break the economies of your nations, as you are concerned. Total it comes to 600million. so a x600 increase. Compared to x1,000,000 that's a drop in the bucket. and the majority of ...

Re: Let's talk inflation.
I see the money creation as part of the compromise. If I can't get my giant jump, than I'll have a small jump now, and a slow trickle over the next 2-3 years. It's not a large amount of money really, not compared to what I want, and it'll portion out slowly. I do still like the idea of dues, as you ...

Scarcity, Need, and other economy essentials.
Okey. Mike brought it up in the inflation thread, and he is right. It does need to be addressed. The core of an economy is the movement of goods and services, and the scarcity of those things in one place and not another is the core of that movement. We have no real scarcity. We are altruistic...kin...

Re: Let's talk inflation.
Okey. I still support mega-multiplying the economy. but as a compromise. Only multiply by say 100. And create 500 million for the SCUE to use for various things such as paying Andreas and I, giving economic awards and other contract works. This'll increase the total money in the world right now. And...
