Re: Forced removals
Hey, how long is the grace period again? I plan on getting Riverstone up and running sometime during the coming months.

Re: Fnord Awards 2011
You don't think me worthy of most promising new micronation? No just kidding, I knew I probably didn't meet the requirements. Congratulations to all those awarded!

Re: Brand New Micronation Idea
Marijuana is tough to legalize without some other nation getting pissed. Most western nations absolutely hate marijuana trade. I don't think you'd get far without being labelled a terrorist if you tried to establish a micronation on legalization of marijuana. Actually, you probably wouldn't even get...

Re: The Walker Democracy declared tax free!
Interland has been struggling to eliminate taxation for last 4 years - at the beginning the rate was at 20%, now we're dealing with all the internal affairs at 11% level. The budget is tight, but finding savings is our second hobby after sports! ;) The complete elimination of taxes would be possibl...

Re: Riverstone Government Map
Looks pretty good to me! Even though Riverstone's small compared to some other nations on the map, it's still realistically a good-sized nation, so it doesn't look that packed too me :) Just wondering, is there a specific Riverstone forum or wiki page that we can use as evidence for activity, as I ...

Riverstone Government Map
Yeah, there's a lot going on, maybe too much, but whatever, I like it that way :P. (Also it's a bit low res, and a bit sloppy, sorry.) Blue is railways, yellow is highways. Black boxes are state capitals, circles are other cities. Green is national parks. Made in Photoshop Elements. http://i.imgur.c...

Re: 2011 Fnords: Judges, nominations, sponsors
Since there's only one person up for most promising new micronation/micronationalist, I would like to nominate my Micronation, Riverstone, and myself for Micronationalist.

Re: Update 14.6.4 Claims/Paint
I've not been here long, and I still think that Keltia looks extremely empty without Normark.

Re: Pixel sizes: The size of the Keltian channel/river thing
Well, at its thinniest when measured in Riverstone, near Carlport, it's only 43 kilometres wide, and that's without adjusting it for latitude, so it should be about 43 times cosine of 38 degrees (approx. Carlport latitude) = 33.88 km, that is, the width of the English Channel at its thinniest :) So...

Pixel sizes: The size of the Keltian channel/river thing
I was wondering exactly how large the Keltian river/channel thing (that goes past my nation of Riverstone) is. I did some calculations (as 1 pixel is 144 sq. km on Micras), and converted it to miles (which is what i can work a lot easier with). The Keltian channel (at the area of measurement, just o...

Re: Normark's Environmental Epic
LOL That is boss, I shall add it to the House of Einhorn's possessions. But Pawel is right, generally speaking it is a rather classical-style poem. No doubt some performance art students at the University of Normark will wish to create a play based upon it ;). One standing on a ladder tossing soot ...
