Re: Future forum checks?
As I've said, the Institute for Micronational Statistics (IMS) of the Free University of Flanders (VUV), has begun recording post counts in the Dutch sector. I've also suggested of dividing the work for the entire planet between the universities of several nations: approximately one for every contin...

Re: Nation Abbreviations & Adjectives
Is it possible to have several abbreviations? I've seen VLA been used by the MCS Council for Flanders, and perhaps FLA as well. Internally, however, the abbreviation VRV has been in unofficial use for at least a decade or so (although one person still refuses to use it, long story). If not, well, it...

Re: New Member State: New Victoria
Namesakes actually. There have been two previous Victoria's: an anglophone and one in the Dutch sector, as you can see from the wiki link.Maximos wrote:You may find it interesting to read up on your namesake!

Re: About the colours
The issue is currently being discussed. See http://hub.mn/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6356 Personally, I think the idea of just writing the name of the country in a different font or in cursive writing on the map is more sensible than changing colours. Because there just aren't enough different basic ...

Re: Batavian Post
Three things: 1) The entire world doesn’t evolve around Jingdao. I was honestly embarrassed that I couldn’t immediately come up with a nice ‘material’ gift – our ‘main export product in jest’, piles of paperwork, didn’t really seem fitting for a coronation. Especially since I quite recently gave a s...

Re: [Ashkenatza] Internal Modifications and Updated Claim
Thank you for bringing back the name "Antilles" <3 I second that sentiment. Those were the days... So I would imagine that the citizens of the Ashkenatzi Antilles would probably have a culture influenced by Feianova and the numerous Oriental-themed nations which were formerly in the area (Xinguo, K...

Thanks! I'll try to do it a little less blurry next time.
That's actually the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my technical skills: there's worseCraitman wrote:A bit of blurring's not a problem at all. We've definitely had worse claims submitted before

You know I've been a loyal reader of your family's writings for years.
I didn't dispute any of the reported facts, although I disagree with the interpretation of this being a smear campaign.

Re: Forumlist dead?
There is an issue with this though. When you collect the numbers for Flanders you will get a higher number than other people because you can see hidden forums. Actually, I don't see a different number for Flanders depending on whether I'm logged in or not, despite the fact that I can see our hidden...

Re: Oldest treaty?
Thanks for the info. I kinda suspected it to be a Babkhan or Shirethian treaty - for some reason, I didn't make the logically to be deducted assumption that could be a treaty between Babkha and Shireroth.

Re: Batavian Post
I realise this isn't meant to be taken seriously, but I would like to point out that, as soon as the error came clear, the confidential information was erased. I believe that, apart from me and Mateo, who was the first to react, nobody saw any of it. Also, if I really intended to start a smear campa...

Re: Forumlist dead?
I kinda anticipated this and published up to date data for the Dutch sector . For those interested: that's 690 posts for Jingdao, 686 for Flanders, 282 for Batavia and 71 for Zeeburg between October 3rd and November 3rd. I was planning to keep these up to date for the Dutch sector, but I just don't ...

Oldest treaty?
So, after a discussion with the King of Gotzborg, with whose country we've got a treaty signed in February 2005, I've been wondering what's the oldest intermicronational treaty still in force today. Just out of curiosity, I've always liked those little tidbits of useless knowledge.
