Re: A Question
I think we both know by now that's not how he rolls.
I'm a little annoyed that these twats took my MCS opposition idea and didn't even tell me, but considering they're enacting it in almost exactly the opposite way that I had planned to, maybe my lack of involvement is for the best.

Re: Permanent LOA.
Though it appears to be edited out now for some reason, in QVII's first post she mentioned that the forums were down.

Re: Permanent LOA.
Was the forum downtime an intentional act by someone in the government or merely random server downtime that nobody knew about?

Re: Reform
But it's always BEEN about choice! People could always choose whatever they want!
Oh, very well. If all you succeed in is popularizing that fact, then that would be a pretty significant step forward.

Re: Permanent LOA.
Well every story has two sides and I'm relatively indifferent to the actual situation. I just don't like it when people talk about quitting. Though, if he cares enough to make this sort of topic instead of just leaving, he's prolly not going to leave. And, with respect, if the forums are down and th...

Re: Permanent LOA.
I can only imagine your frustration, but it's not a reason to leave the hobby for good. There are plenty of micronations out here that have abandoned backstabbing BS games years ago in favor of a more community-minded approach. I'm not going to name names, but I'm sure you know of other nations that...

Re: OAM bans Micras nations
There was a somewhat halfhearted attempt to make the relationships better, but ultimately it's been getting nothing but worse. Granted, we never did ANYTHING to those fucks . They just discovered us and started progressively hating us more. Anyway, that's that, I suppose. Will you claim this is som...

Re: Reform
In my experience, the hardest part about solving a problem is getting everyone involved to admit that the situation is a problem in the first place. You always have a few straglers that insist that everything is fine and nothing is broken. As for my proposed solutions, Andreas largely covered them. ...

Re: Reform
Suprisingly I disagree with you and your insights into the micronational community, particularly recwarring. As much as you may think you're a sage, you're not. You do not have a monopoly on ideas or the way that Micras works and the statements of profound truth you make about issues are as irritat...

Re: Reform
You really are very confrontational, it's just not necessary. Yeah. I'm not going to deny it. On the flipside, recwarring is basically dead and I was under the impression that most of are here to try to brainstorm ideas to help fix it. I don't think Montague's idea is a very likely solution, so rat...

Re: Reform
Your ARMS idea is impractical to the core. It's another layer of management covering up systems that barely ever worked to begin with. You can form a body to keep ruling charters if you want, but I cannot imagine anyone taking advantage of it as anything more than an archive. It won't change much ab...

Re: Reform
This "Permanent War" thing sounds a lot like my opinion of micronational economies – a couple people really care and get all hardcore into the rules and the math and become powerful, a sizable minority wants nothing to do with it and opt out quickly, and the vast majority of people sign up because i...

Re: Reform
Making points more complicated in the name of logistics is a bad move. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that anything at all that doesn't drastically reduce the complexity of this system is a bad move. The past several wars have been painfully marred by the fact that nobody really seemed to know wha...

Re: IMPORTANT: Leafstorm request cessation of Lovely.
Your legal position is poor, but your best bet is that it's not serious. It looks like a somewhat respectful email, but it falls down in several areas when examined closely. I mean, the email doesn't even capitalize "Leafstorm." No way they'd make a mistake like that.
