Re: Fnord Awards 2014
You're welcome :) After racking my brains through the other categories, I would like to additionally nominate Shyriath Bukolos for the Award for Literature ("the Jeremy"), for his absolutely epic narration of the re-emergence and accession of Kaiser Mors IV to the Shirerithian throne, which was four...

Re: Fnord Awards 2014
Pfff... my Goldshirian history stuff is as half-assed as it's possible to get. But if you guys insist... :P Anyway my own nominations. Forgive my blanket nomination of Bastionados - I don't get out much (best MiniEx EVAR!) Award for Conflict Resolution ("the Beard"): Janus Eadric (Edgard) , for bein...

After Lunaris' awful performance, I was kinda relieved to see the League grind to a halt

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
I'd throw in participation in international sport as part of the foreign interaction. There are a few places whose diplomatic activity is is minimal but whose sports activity is considerably more developed.

Re: Resource Map Upgrades
This promises to be quite spectacular. Keep up the good work!
Will the distribution of resources bear any resemblance to those of the old map, or will there be a complete reassessment from scratch based on the ecological factors you mentioned?

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
but, but... but no bigger than Shireroth *looks at Aryasht* well, whichever country expands - the backstory impact must be seen. Funny you should mention Aryasht... the sheer maelstrom of contortions, reductions and swaps Shireroth had to go through to assume that territory was one of the major pre...

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
do you have any plans to actually discuss anything that isn't my sarcasm and brusque diplomatic style? I mean, you've got three or four solid responses to your letter whose contents you've yet to actually address in any way. What is there to address? I've already said my part. What we need is every...

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
I'm sure there are more level headed and adult signatories and I look forward to them joining the discussion as opposed to the emotional conflict. As do I. Preferably with people who don't call me a "13 year old", a proponent of the "Old Boys' Club", an "idiot", and "arrogant". It's not much to ask...

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
So in short, for all the due consideration that has been given, the MCS will do precisely nothing in response to this letter. I find it difficult to comprehend that the united word of so many members (majority or not, this is more than a one-man wibble you must admit) can be dismissed as so illegiti...

While we're talking about Goldshire, can I hijack this and get Mesior and Demonsfall upgraded to Large Cities?

Re: Awarding of the 2013 Fnords
I didn't nominate anyone for anything and I still got one. My thanks go to this year's committee for recognising the blood, sweat and tears I shed in arranging the Shirekeep Cabbage business into some kind of coherent narrative, you've made the process worth it! Looking around, I see a lot of talent...
