Re: North Vs. Extreme timeline and other things
yes subs use stealth but that doesn't mean they cant duke it out  as andreas said to attack a submarine effectively you need highly specified weapons and equipment which granted you have to some extent but my orbat is 70% dedicated to attacking naval targets ie ships how much of your orbat is ...

Re: Andreas
extreme the thing is your talking about running into me at a choke point we ran across each other (as we played it) in the open ocean... the odds of that are so astronomically low its not even funny...

Re: North Vs. Extreme timeline and other things
dude you do realize that my force consists of what are meant to be the most advanced submarines on micras right? seriously dude give my units and crews some credit, yes you ambushed my but the oceans big and in all honesty i could have debated your success at detecting me till the dogs come home but...

Re: North Vs. Extreme timeline and other things
do you mind if we hold while we sort out what is going on? ie im willing to scratch the air craft attacks and just summarize final damages. im sorry but i've had a bad week and dont have the mental capacity to keep this up... so up to this point i had one mini lost 2 damaged i assumed the Matar was ...

Re: Official War Thread
"CAA Rana to all ships. Break off, scatter pattern Zulu echo one one six, go deep and run silent" SUMMARY: Sub force scatters to the four winds. (after taking neccisary precautions to insure escape  ) basically im saying lets end the battle and hammer out some losses, maybe then we can move on.

North Vs. Extreme timeline and other things
you had said that your ships were at least half a days journey away so what 250 pixels which is something like 600 miles and i doubt much more than 3-4 minutes has elapsed since our battle started so im wondering if your actually able to be pulling up this air support. remember you weren't aware i w...

Re: Official War Thread
the thing is when i have 20 ships doing individual story for each of them is too time consuming so i treat it like any military unit i post actions as a group. then specify damages at the end. hence our missing each other and that confusion. As the matar broke the surface the crew immedaiately began...

Re: Official War Thread
ummm extreme with the attack on the cancer subs i countered all of your initial torpedoes you were wire-guiding them i made you think my subs were somewhere they weren't so you'd guide to the wrong place. also i think the damage im taking compared to you is excessive to say the least. my cancer subs...

CAA Gomeisa "CAPTAIN! Torpedoes in the water!" "Contact on source?" "Negitive sir 5 seconds to impact" "Ping forward and launch tubes one and two." The active sonar ping tore through the ocean and like a candle in a dark room shed light on what was hidden. the ping rebounded off not only the enemy ...

Re: extreme007
Meh, we would have been using satellite not radar so it doesn't matter. Just so you know, satellites can't detect me firing my missiles at you from my submarine. That's the whole point of ICBMs on submarines. You could go anywhere and launch it without getting detected right away. Plus, firing ICBM...

Re: Demon of North
well the wars about over and i dont really mind an all out gun battle, if thats how you'd like to play it. so how about this. your subs are out trying to detect incoming forces first they hear something strange go by but as it isn't something they can recognize they don't do anything (decide to radi...

Re: Demon of North
yeah ok so perhaps that article was bad... i remember having seen one a while back on it, i think in reference to Zumwult class destroyers but couldn't find it. here's my problem though, I would never have used deisel subs. If however these were desiel subs they would have significantly more fire po...
