Re: Micras Poker Tour
I still think you should reconsider finding a way to allow non-SCUE affiliated nations to participate. I enjoy poker and would love to play, but I wasn't going to join the SCUE before; certainly not now that many of my concerns about the concept were vindicated by the recent Trade Equality Act farce.

Re: A poll on the subject of the Gloria Mundi map
I always assumed that there were a multitude of rivers on Micras too small to be drawn, and that representing them is the job of people drawing "zoomed in" maps of their territories. Also this, because on a world map, small local rivers aren't mapped (even if they are important, such as the River T...

Re: A poll on the subject of the Gloria Mundi map
I always considered it a narrow sea, except when the conversation about how it's a silly looking river comes up now and again. As was quoted to Orion, by virtue of the fact that you can't make anything less than one pixel wide on the claims map, and every pixel representing 12 km, all but the widest...

Re: The Annexation of Antillica
That depends entirely on if Rauve still checks his micronational email address. If he agrees to surrender the administrative login and password to the forum, then I may be able to import much of their boards to the Uantiri ones, since they both use proboards. However, if he is unresponsive or resist...

The Annexation of Antillica
Until further notice the Antillican Empire has been annexed by the Kingdom of Uantir and is now the Vassal Antillican Empire of Uantir. I have requested the administrator's log in information for both their proboards site and their wiki. As soon as I have it I will fulfil my obligation under our tre...

Re: The LOA Thread
The Kaelyn-pocalypse began when she thought the pretty bright red light on the power strip was something to play with and shut the power off to the computer. It's a pretty economy line HP I bought at the PX while still in the Army. The computer guy at the shop says that model has a notorious problem...

Re: The LOA Thread
So I have been away for a bit due to the great Kaelyn-pocalypse in which my daughter managed to destroy both the computer and the laptop within days of each other. The desktop is back online, so I'm off to catch up!

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
The concept of "Convince Me" when submitting a claim is the opposite of what we do. We, the council, are neutral. It's not our job to be swayed by someone, it's our job to evaluate a claim based on the same scale we used to evaluate all claims. Perhaps that's the problem. Or at least "a" problem, i...

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
I feel like what I've described earlier with my 100 point concept is the middleground you're talking about. Which means I'm not explaining it correctly, so allow me to elaborate (not arguing.) The points / final score thing would only be used as a way of creating a less subjective method of assignin...
