Re: Recwar, anyone?
My example doesn't really follow a formula. That said, I think we could reasonably set effectiveness to something like 1/4 cost. Then, just to increase competition, it might be interesting to allow players to incorporate experience by increasing effectiveness to 1/3 cost for one unit, or for one pa...

Re: Please remove Zeeburg
If you've annexed them, I'm fine to remove them, but there are a couple accounts that still have funds:
Arne Govaerts ZEB
GE Zeeburg
Are these dead accounts, or are they owned by people who are still around, in which case, where should I move them to?

Ah, that makes more sense why you want to incorporate it, then.
Can I ask what the formulas are for the effect column? I can't quite make sense of it from the example shown.

Re: Recwar, anyone?
This actually looks like an interesting and relatively straightforward system, especially for battle resolution - which makes me wonder whether you actually need to incorporate any sort of Anunia elements at all. Wouldn't it be easier to just have some general types of units (infantry division, tank...

Re: New Zimia Application
No, no, good, thanks, I had lost track (the fun of starting full time work). Added the country, just register a government account and tell me it's name, and I'll give it national admin permissions.

Re: Republic of Flanders subdivisions
You can in fact now do it yourself - whichever of your accounts has the National Admin privileges (should be whichever one is your Central Bank/Treasury equivalent) can add and remove subdivisions within your nation.

Re: New Zimia Application
Nah that's fine. I'll start the one week waiting process, as normal. Since you already have an account and no money needs to be created, that makes it easy. It's only when a brand new nation with 10 new citizens appears that people are a bit more dubious.

Re: GDP?
The difficult with working out in simulation stuff is a moderately fair/objective way of making the valuations, which is pretty hard.

Re: Credit Transfer Glitch
I fiddled, and realised that the main problem was that one of the accounts I had deleted (as their nation was defunct) had a stock in the SCX, which meant they should get money when you transfer SCUE currency in, but they can't because their account is gone. But the way the bank handles that and the...

Re: GDP?
It is written up, but on the old Shireroth forum (that page was coded in 2009). The basic explanation is: GDP measures all transactions involving a given nation over a three month period. Consumption (C) = Transactions originating from a private citizen in the given country; to any other account. In...

Re: Remove nations
Thanks very much! For the merged into Shireroth ones, I've deleted the subdivisions and moved all accounts into Shireroth (so haven't touched the money in them), for the others, I've just deleted those countries. EDIT: Updated list of remaining countries: Alexandria Brettish Isles Flanders Gralus Gr...

Bank Update
I've done some updates to the bank. One is to make my life easier (the admin account can now delete nations in a couple clicks). The one of interest to you guys is that National level admin (i.e. the main government account in each nation) can now add and remove subdivisions for that nation, as well...

I'm particularly loo...

Re: Remove nations
This was actually on my to-do list. I've now programmed an page to do the deletion automatically! In accordance with the list you gave me and the list in this thread , the following nations have been removed: A1 Antica Ashkenatza Babkha Flandria Secunda Havnesgade Amager Kirkland New Victoria Nordic...
