Eh, the magnetic field relies on it being hot and churning more than anything, doesn't it? A minor decrease in heavy metals shouldn't do anything except shave a billion years off of the planet's total active geological lifetime.

Ah, but as Micras is larger than Earth (since the pixel was changed to 12km), wouldn't it rotate more slowly as it's heavier? Jupiter rotates every 10 hours. They think the Earth used to rotate faster, but the Moon has been slowing it down. Micras's moon is larger than Earth's, but Micras might've ...
