Re: Resource Map Upgrades
Looking very nice, and I think international trade has been non-functional for long enough that you can safely restart the resource maps without anyone getting too concerned. I'm not sure whether the lines are necessary though - they will look messy once you're done, to be sure. Could you just put t...

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
I think the idea of a probationary period (with potential removal if the nation doesn't last the full three months, or whatever criteria you think appropriate that you would use to currently justify an initial claim after three months) is a good compromise to allow land development without getting ...

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
As I said, you could still let claimants use Paint and submit a png version if they want, but the version the council edits could be far more helpfully done as an .svg, and then just exported to .png format too (and I'd be surprised if it's hard for Shyriath to put a post together on how to edit the...

Re: An Open Letter to the MCS
EDIT: While I was preparing this post, several others posted too. Sadamara has covered a lot of the same ground as I have, but since I bothered to carefully phrase this all, I'm still posting it anyway. Gosh, we do like arguing over minor details, don't we. It's probably a good thing we don'...

Re: Maps, Maps, Maps
It is a slightly depressing colour scheme, but I do quite like the underlay of the physical map on the political map. Nicely done

Re: Request for account and login information
Ah, Edgard just asked me this on the Bastion Union, so I've pm'd him new passwords for the Banque de Alexandrie au Stormark account and your government account. Once he logs into the government account, he can see all the other accounts in Alexandria and reset people's passwords as needed. Pro tip f...

Thanks for the reminder. I've just pm'd you a link to my article. It turned out rather nicely.

Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
I now have a first draft of a paper! I should really sit down and edit it in a couple days, so I won't send it in just yet, Liam; but if it gets close to the cutoff date and you haven't heard from me, remind me and I'll make sure I get it to you in one form or another. Either way, you shal...

Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
If we were looking to hit the ball out of the park on the first swing, we would implement normal academic referencing standards, which would involve dozens of unique references and much more than 1,000 word minimums. There is no intention of taking the JMS to that extreme. The minimum requirements ...

Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
I'll try and do something up on micronational economics - maybe reworking some of my earlier writings on the subject, updated with more recent experience, of course.

Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
This sounds an excellent idea, especially considering that in the past I've wrote academic style articles on micronational economics (which are almost certainly woefully out of date now, but at least remind me I've done it before and can do it again). I may end up writing something, time allowing.

Re: Recwar, anyone?
Yeah, that would work well, just depends how judge-dependent you want to make things, really. On that note, if you can't find anyone else, I'm willing to judge. I can't guarantee I'll be on every single day, but I'd make the effort to be fairly prompt. Just make sure the rules are very clear for eve...
