Not that I'm an expert on such matters, but I think that was a little childish monty, and very uninformed.Roman wrote: I admit I'm a NOOB and I have no respect for my betters!!! I'm sorry for being such a NOOB I just can't help it.

Re: Longbow of Toketi
One would assume that the judge(s) that the move was pmed to would determine the success of the infiltration. Because if it is successful, the defending party would know nothing of it (hence it being a secret move). If it was unsuccessful, then it would make sense for it to be a public post, seeing ...

Re: Official War Thread
OOC: Scott, I love you. Blood calls for blood. Tired, bloody, and watching the skies, the troops marched onto Monty's ships. The past week had been filled with hundreds of deaths as bombers cratered the ground. Life seemed to be looking up however, as the men saw the ships that they were approaching...

Re: Official War Thread
Wait. WTF? I was being attacked? Well, I totally missed that. I'm pretty sure you can't kill 6000 heavily fortified people in trenches with 5 bombers and 3 gunships in one day, though. Keep in mind that when Nicholas attacked me with more planes than you're using, there were only a few hundred casu...

Re: extreme007
it does seem to be very complicated (though kudos to the creator.), and possibly too complicated for practical use. however, a sense of realism is needed. would one army have the ability to drain its nation's income? Would a person without national financing be able to afford hundreds of billions of...

24 hour rule (seeing as no defense has been posted in the past ~27 hours): 30% of Scott's (remaining?) orbat* destroyed by the gunships. 20% of Scott's (remaining?) orbat* destroyed by the bombers. 15% of any other enemy's units that were with Scott's troops. *: 25% of those not in the trenches. 5% ...

Re: extreme007
Yeah. The 400 and 600 missile barrages started to make me wonder exactly how many missiles all these vehicles were carrying, how fast they were able to fire them off, and how they possibly got the money to afford shooting millions of dollars of military equipment off on a whim. Plus it makes for re...

Re: Anti-Nelagan side Orbats
As a side comment here, i found something funny: Btw, you never mentioned your missiles were exactly. Short range, long range, munitions, speed etc. Would be helpful to yourself and everyone else if you could specify as it allows me to know whether you're acting unfairly by immediately moving secret...

Re: Official War Thread
The evening began quietly enough. Most of the construction workers returned from their posts in the trenches, while a few lingered behind to finish shoring up the edges so that the trench would not re-fill. The troops serving as guards returned to their respective camps to hunker down for the night...

It matters this much because of how he's doing it. And we've gotten really "arsy" about our tech, defending it and keeping it relatively secret. And people randomly running around blowing up civilians really rubs some of us the wrong way. I'd say it's nothing personal, but i believe that this issue ...

Re: Longbow of Toketi
It also makes no sense for a city heavily defended to just sit by and allow itself to be destroyed. It's going to attempt to save itself by whatever means possible, and if the attacker is being persistent enough, destroy them.
