Re: Statement of Opinion - Occupy Wall Street
I just read their list of demands. Oh my god. Demands one and nine contradict each other. It's impossible to have completely open borders immigration with massive tariffs on sold goods. It is my personal belief that we should have complete free trade, and possibly even complete open borders. I think...

Re: [Discussion] Encouraging Business Activity
I think that the propositions by Andreas should be regarded as a rulebook for Micras economics. I think I will start a company soon (maybe as soon as my website is back up).

Secundomian Website down
Not sure of the right place to put this but, the Secundomian website is down. We are currently resolving issues with our host. This is the http://www.secundomia.co.cc website, so no riverstone resources can be reached.

Re: Macras?
Riverstone's shape is based on Eritrea. But our politics/culture will probably be based on United States culture. I can only fathom lol. How do you define "United States" culture? Well, a constitutional political system, however with hopefully more political parties. We also want to be highly capit...

Re: The Keltian Express
You could suffer devestating ridicule and rejection as well as a sudden shunning by the entire community. I'm used to that though. Thanks MicroWiki. :P Ja, definitely overstepping, at least with Normark (the light blue nation). I'm not going to ream you or anything but we do have formal procedure i...

Re: The Keltian Express
Also, great initiative with the 'projection' map, and I'm glad it's gotten some feedback such as that from Stormark. I've been heistant to do that since I've been getting each nation's cooperation as the line comes to them, so as to preserve the continuity of the line. I was hesitant to do it to, b...

Re: The Keltian Express
Ok, this probably is overstepping my bonds as a n00b, but I was bored so I made a "possibilities" map. Brown is appr. current railroad, and red is some possible extensions I thought of.

Re: Time Zones.
Should we have time zones for everyone who wants to comply and then just let Shireoth do their own thing?

Re: Time Zones.
It's believed that Micras spins slower than Earth, and the day lasts 28 hours here. As this would mean a very complicated conversion, the time zones are abandoned as such, and timezone of most citizens of a country is considered a "standard time". Plus, many use one real day = 3 or 10 Micran days, ...

Awesome! Let's get on that ASAP!
Hmm, that's an interesting idea. The express could cross the river to Carlport, then cross again into Bueagium. Yeah, I think that can work.Parker I wrote:Any chance of an extension to Carlport?
