Hamland Modification
Name & Title: Lord Lewis, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Hamland, Baron of Anglia and Israat E-Mail/Contact: does this actually serve a function any more? Re: Council's new look
I think the problem is that countries want to make sure that their claims and development are well understood in the Council. The reason I had raised examples of good practice is because I wanted to show that countries will be happier with Council members which they feel understand clearly what is h...

Re: Council's new look
To Jack, I am glad your recognise that to be the case. I hope there is no ill-will. I have invited the concerned citizens to make their cases so that this be cleared up properly. I do not wish to comment further, as I have given my reasoning. I certainly welcome Yastreb's comments too. I have been v...

Re: Council's new look
I had actually written a thoughtful response (to the point which I can be considered thoughtful), but it was deleted. So I try now to replicate it from memory. I firstly encourage those who raised objections, including the ex-Duke Sinclair, to make their objections known. They put the case forward, ...

Re: Council's new look
I would like to clarify that the motion did not pass out of personal dislike of you. I've personally never had any problem with you. I think most of us who were swayed on the matter wished to see a greater variety of communities represented on the Council. I have no problem with the executive nature...

Re: Council's new look
One would still hope to have this dissatisfaction taken into account. It is not normal for countries to oppose these decisions on such a scale. Not engaging with, or even dismissing, these viewpoints would do nothing but agitate the situation.

Re: Resurrection of the Trans-Keltian Railway
We have recently discussed not having any more large expansions for the time being, as we wanted to do more development of what we have. I'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement if it means promoting a better integrated Keltia. You are welcome to visit, and I can raise the issue in Parliament.

I seem to remember it being quite large. I know Nick did something in that region too. That's why it always seemed interesting.

Re: Samerica Claim Request
I recently discovered Hamland owns much of the territory of the old Walker democracy. I wasn't aware of their existence, and it was based on an even older project which I can't even remember the name of off of the top of my head. I just remember Jeremy was involved and it was USA based. SO if you ha...

Re: Taking up the Reigns - Items for Discussion
The SCUE does need considerable reform. I'm posting this partly to make you aware of the fact that we have had to resort to a new short term measure of introducing a new currency. There is a substantial problem you now have, in that any overhaul potentially wipes the wealth of significant sectors of...

Re: Manifest Ergonia
I'm happy that the confusion between East and West Keltia continues. The East Keltian Treaty Organisation remains my greatest blunder. There is nothing wrong with having dreams of the areas you would like to expand, and I hope that Ergonia achieves the activity and richness of culture which would fa...
