I was never supportive of Barikalus' predecessor Arbor's relocation to Apollonia last year given its underwhelming backstory, and I would have much preferred to see the land be claimed by Çakaristan instead at the time. While I can appreciate the worry that the relocation in question was engineered to ultimately be annexed by Çakaristan, there is certainly no consideration that Arbor was originally founded purely to be annexed as its history (through the Frankish Empire) predates Çakaristan's (well, its predecessor Sylvania's) foundation.

It's a bit of a contentious situation but ultimately the outcome in all of the above is something that I'd have happily supported a year ago when the relocation went through; i.e. a Çakari claim on this land and the Arboric state abandoning its original lands on Keltia to no longer remain an MCS member, so it's kinda come full circle for me (albeit via an interesting history including a failed merger with Jingdao and a tri-occupied Barikalus for a short while).

I may have to seriously consider any support for brand new Guus projects that want to claim on Micras in the future, I'll admit, but for this particular instance, I'm okay to give it an AYE...
