Applications to host each Conference of the World Championships are now open. For the A Conference, bidding nations must name two arenas to be used for the competition. For the B and C Conferences, bidding nations must name one host venue.

The 2021 MHL World Championships hosting rights have been awarded as follows:

World Championships: Craitland
Group B-I: Etourney
Group B-II: Jääland
Group C-I: Tiana
Group C-II: Osktrava (will be awarded automatic qualification for this group)
'C' qualifiers: Not awarded

Bidding will re-open for the 'C' qualifiers for a period of two weeks, with the following nations eligible to bid:

33 - Elwynn
34 - Normark
36 - Dark Berry Islands
37 - New Batavia

Additionally, the draw for the 2021 World Championships has also been announced. This year's Championship will deviate slightly from the previous format, in that hosts Craitland will not be awarded the number 1 seeding. Craitland will still take part in Group A, but will be seeded as normal. As such, the draw is as follows:
