Maybe some hand-holding via PM wouldn't go amiss, Ed...

Host bidding will close on 31st October, so get them in while you still have chance!
Re: 2020 MHL World Championships
Pretty standard for an ice hockey venue tbh. If a country is interested they're not gonna have a poxy rink. I agree it shouldn't be excessive, but you have to allow for development.

Re: 2020 MHL World Championships
For an NHL rink, maybe, but for a team in the C Conference qualifiers, I wouldn't expect them to have anything bigger than a UK Elite League rink. But who knows, maybe they have big ambitions
Re: 2020 MHL World Championships
It's a national team - there's regardless of sport there's often larger stadiums than a team can actually fill and besides, Ice Hockey arenas are naturally more limited, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch...
Re: 2020 MHL World Championships
Phinbella's rink is bigger than all the rinks in Micra's version of the NHL. The capacity is just unrealistic. You don't see IIHF division III teams irl hosting events in 22K capacity arenas...

What about 6,400-capacity arenas, given that's the actual size mentioned?

Re: 2020 MHL World Championships
The MHL are pleased to confirm that the hosts have been selected for next year's World Championships. As the sole bidder for the 'A' Conference, the main event will be hosted by Birgeshir for the second time. There were two bids made for the 'B' Conference, although following Qavaqaqqaqqaniitqeqertaq's promotion to the 'A' Conference, only Krasnocoria are eligible to host, and are therefore awarded the right to host. The 'C' Conference will be hosted by Florian Eura, again as the sole bidder for the competition. The 'C' Conference qualifiers will be jointly hosted by both Thracistan and Phinbella, as the competition will be split into two groups, with both nations hosting one group each.
Congratulations to all nations selected.
