Re: [ICHL] Relocation Franchise applications now open
After the dissolution of the nation of Freeland, five franchises of the ICHL will be lost. To get the league back to a reasonable number of 30 to 32 teams, The ICHL is delighted to announce that Mutfak Yetis, HC Réal Livingston and Vice City Red Wings has been accepted as new franchises of the league to bring the league to 31 teams next season. A 32nd team will be decided on at a later date.
Liancourt Rockers's bid for an ICHL franchise has been deferred. The reasoning is that the league would like to see more hockey development in Phinbella before committing having a team there.

32nd and final franchise awarded for the 2020-21 season
After much discussion, it has been confirmed that Phinbella has been unsuccessful in gaining an ICHL license from 2020-21 onwards. The 32nd and final franchise will be located in the Northern large town of Coldley and will be named the Coldley Ducks. The Ducks will be included in the Western Conference and Metropolitan Division.
