Gotzborg proposes the following motion for the attention of the General Assembly:

Noting the Secretary-General's formal notice regarding the status of the MTO membership of the Empire of the Alexandrians, The Gralan Empire, and the Independent Realm of Ergonia, the General Assembly moves that these three micronations be expelled, pursuant to Section 2a of the Treaty.

We could consider adding a clause, or perhaps adopt as a custom, that when a nation leaves Micras/the MCS that could potentially constitute a notice of an intent to leave the MTO as well.

The Secretary-General has heard a motion from the distinguished representative from Gotzborg, as well as the observations of the distinguished representative from Natopia.

Amendments to the General Membership Treaty require the approval of a three-fourths majority of all the members of this General Assembly.

Is there a second to the motion of the distinguished representative from Gotzborg, or are there further motions or observations?

There is a motion, duly seconded, to expel the Empire of the Alexandrians, The Gralan Empire, and the Independent Realm of Ergonia, pursuant to Section 2a of the Treaty.

2a. Members may be expelled from the organization by the General Assembly with a 3/4th (75.0%) majority.
There being 15 members on the roll, approval of at least 12 members of the General Assembly shall be sufficient to decide the question in favor. If this is not achieved, the measure fails.

The question before the General Assembly is, "Shall the Empire of the Alexandrians, The Gralan Empire, and the Independent Realm of Ergonia be expelled from the Micras Treaty Organization?"

Gotzborg votes AYE.

(We really need to reform the voting procedure at some point. Good luck getting all 12 remaining nations to vote within a reasonably limited time period when most are occasionally active at best. The MTO is a toothless organization that practically can't even do its own housekeeping using the current voting procedures).

Natopia votes Aye

(And would also support a good look at modernizing the MTO's procedures to work in the current state of the community)

Pontus votes AYE.

Surely we could introduce a procedure where members are automatically removed, especially in circumstances like Alexandria where they have announced their own departure?
