The inaugural MGFF World Cup will commence in March and the organisations four 'Test' nations and six qualified nations will compete against each other for the most prestigious international honour of the sport. All 'Test' nations will be allocated to Group A and be given match hosting responsibilities. The six qualified teams will be split into two groups of three and the tournament will operate a six-team playoff system. The Grand Final will be played at Northcliff Stadium, currently the largest stadium on Micras. The competing teams are as follows:
