2014 FMRL World Cup
The third FMRL World Cup is fast-approaching, so it's time to open up the host selection process once again. Any member nation except for Mercury and Safiria, who hosted in 2012 and 2013 respectively, will be eligible to apply. The tournament will be expanded to 10 teams for this edition, so more teams than ever before will be fighting their way to the summit of Micrasian rugby league. All FMRL member nations will be automatically entered, so all you need to do to enter is to apply for FMRL membership (and you're pretty much certain to be approved!).

Re: 2014 FMRL World Cup
To host:
Nation: North Antarctica and Lucerne
Leader: Grand Duke Martin I and Governor Suivai Umataua
List of venues (at least 6): Napian National Stadium, 85000
Stadium of the Capital, 66000
Livingston Way, 40000
Martin I Stadia, 35000
The Den, 15000
Westport Road, 6000
Brief paragraph about why you want to host: Rugby league in the Antarctic region is quickly catching up to the level of Craitland, Hamland and Mercury, and we believe that hosting the World Cup could give the sport the boost it needs in the region. North Antarctica put in a respectable performance at the last World Cup, losing out narrowly in the semi-finals to eventual winners Mercury, while Lucerne missed out on qualification on points difference. North Antarctica has already hosted football's Copa Apollonia in 2012, so they have already proven themselves, whereas Lucerne is an untapped pool as of yet, but local authorities are confident that they can pull this out of the bag.

Re: 2014 FMRL World Cup
To host:
Nation: Senya and River Warriors
Leader: Barnaby Hands
List of venues (at least 6):Brief paragraph about why you want to host: Senya is a rugby mad nation, with the sport the third most played sport in the country, after football and ice hockey. Senya showed how well it can host a major international tournament after our succesful hosting of the 2013 Copa Apollonia tournament. For this tournament we have joined forces with the River Warriors, who are enthusiastic about the sport too, and Rugby is also the third most popular sport (behind Football and Futsal). Given the chance, we are certain that we could pull of a successful and memorable tournament.Spoiler!

While not interested in hosting this year, Gotzborg is interested in competing through our national team, the Grossberg RFC.

Great! You'll become a member of the Apollonian Rugby League for continental tournaments and qualifiers.
Re: 2014 FMRL World Cup
Victoria would also like to become FMRL members and compete in the 2014 World Cup. Our Federation would be known as Rugby League Victoria while the Victorian National Team would be the Wolves.

Re: 2014 FMRL World Cup
Hosting for the 2014 FMRL World Cup has been awarded to NORTH ANTARCTICA AND LUCERNE! It was felt that the tournament should be rotated between the continents, and that the North Antarctic bid offered the best opportunity to do this. However, Senya's bid was very strong, and they will be asked to host the upcoming Four Nations tournament featuring Craitland, Hamland, Mercury and North Antarctica.
