MAS info (moved from old forum)
THE STAR
the star Micras orbits is called Atos
PLANETS
the planets are named as so:
some info on the planets:
1. Eos
Venus like in quality. A straight telescope appearance show show that it would be tan in colour with dark bands from wind storms. Of course, beneath the clouds is a super heated surface due to the greenhouse effect. www.astro.lsa.umich.edu/s.../venus.jpg
2. Micras
While we know what Micras looks like from the extensive maps, what about Mercia? Our Moon, created by some theories of a planetoid colliding with the Earth, is normally dark black and grey. www.pa.msu.edu/people/fre...y-2831.jpg
3. Pyros
Mars like in appearance. Once possessing an atmosphere which many theorise that it leaked out into space. It still possess a very thin atmosphere. It still possess polar ice caps that do melt to a point. The distances in our system makes Pyros extremely cold, but in this system, perhaps it would be warmer?
www.astro.uva.nl/exhibiti.../mars.jpeg
4. Indigo
More information is needed about both of these planets. Their rotation could have effects upon other planet's gravities as they swing through the system. If the magnetic field is created in time, an strong atmosphere might survive, but this position in the system would make the surface very cold. Even the neighbouring Gas Giant would have to be very close to provide any heat.
5. Chrysos
The first of several gas giant. We should consider the strength of the storms that will be rumbling around the surface. Will they be dull like Saturn's or multi-coloured like Jupiter's? Plus, don't forget about the blue surface of Neptune. A gas giant usually have more moons than just two. Perhaps Fenrir and Lukedu are the most visible and promient and more can be discovered. Also, there is potential that a large gas giant my cause adverse effects to Indigo, including its destruction.
info on Micras:
Physical Properties of Micras
Radius of Micras: 6.3782×10^6 m
Circumferance of Micras: 4.0075×10^7 m (Earth: 4.0075×10^7 m equatorial, 4.0008×10^7 m polar)
Volume of Micras: 1.0869×10^21 m^3 (Earth: 1.0832×10^12 m^3)
Assuming that the average density of Micras is equal to Earth (5515 kg/m^3)
Mass of Micras: 6.0114×10^24 kg (Earth: 5.9736×10^24 kg)
Acceleration due to Gravity at Sea Level: 9.8600 m/s^2 (Earth: 9.7800 m/s^2 at Equator, 9.8067 m/s^2 average)
MOONS
The moons that we know about are:
Micras: Tarsica
Indigo: Plateau, Ivory
Chrysos: Fenrir, Lukedu
There is also an old page on the definition of Tarsica with explanations of the wildlife there:

THE REST OF THE UNIVERSE
some star maps were being drawn by fax celestis, he made 6, the official one was not decided, here they are:

and remember we need 2, one for north and one for south
for the galaxy there is a choise of several options:
Elliptical
Lenticular
Spiral
Barred Spiral
Ring galaxy
Irregular[/quote]

You know, I have half of that in a thread below, Spangle ...

Re: MAS info (moved from old forum)
Should some combination of this and this be put into Data/Facts?

Re: MAS info (moved from old forum)
It SHOULD be Atropos, but that's another matter entirely.

Re: MAS info (moved from old forum)
Which holder of the name came first, the moon or the demigod?

I designed the moon, I get to name it! TARSICA!
Which reminds me that geocities page reference is gone now. I'll need to post that material to the forum.

Moon. Demigod was named afterward after the name got ousted from the moon.Andreas the Wise wrote:Which holder of the name came first, the moon or the demigod?
