Senya's concerns over the tentions in Eastern Apollonia caused an extraordinary meeting of the National Democratic Forum. Prime Minister Ystëna Denisenka re-iterated concerns over possible clashes between the USSO and SANE arriving on Senya's door, with the Senyan state being sandwiched between USSO military powerhouse Jingdao and the Natopian territory of Arboria. Additionally, concerns were brought up over the position of the Florian government and their possible involvement of the assassination of King Nikolaj of Coria. The NDF though failed to agree on a concrete plan for the Senyan response however, except an increase in border staff and beefing up security along Senya's frontiers.

Ms. Denisenka's Centrist Party favours pacifism, however, there have been increased calls for economically supporting Coria, given the positive relations of the two countries. With an upcoming election, Ms. Denisenka's credibility as a leader will undoubtedly be test in the upcoming weeks and month as the situation in the East develops.

Senya beefs up border security

The Senyan government has announced that it will be laying on more patrols along and adding more checks to the southern border with Jingdao. The Senyan government has cited fears of the conflict in Southern Apollonia expanding and has re-iterated its commitment to pacificism.

Senyans are understandably nervous about a militarised Jingdao, with its predeccesor state, the Apollonian Republic, invading Senya, annexing the River Warriors and launching a major, though ultimately unsuccessful attack on the city of Tiga.

Meanwhile in the River Warriors, fears amongst the local Jingdaoese administration of the Rivorian Liberation Army (RLA)'s activities will be rising, following a recent spate of arson attacks and kidnappings of civilians in several villages in the north-east of the region. However, it would appear that the group currently has very little power and are woefully ill-equipped to fight the Jingdaoese state.
