The draw has just been done for the groups of the first ever Rugby World Cup hosted by Nova England. King Josephus of the host nation joined us by picking the groups for the competition:
GROUP A
Hamland
Nova England (hosts)
NSV
Oleslaad-Svensland
GROUP B
Cräiteland
Greenuk
Ocia
Tellia
Hamland and Tellia, two of the favourites will not meet in the group stages, however Tellia's recent bad luck facing Greenuk maybe happening all over again as they are drawn with the nation that thrashed them in the football's FMF World Cup Qualifiers 9-1 last week. However this is a chance for revenge.

Nova England 17-17 Hamland
The hosts of the first ever Rugby World Cup on Micras almost stunned the favourites Hamland by forcing them to come back to level the game 17-17 after 80 minutes.
Within the first few minutes, Nova England decided to play a forward game - mimicing the Hamland setup. The first row and second row dominated and tried to force through. Driving forward, hooker Meodus Baltan almost gave Nova England something to cheer about as he touched the ball down on the try line, however he knocked the ball forward and the ball came back for a scrum.
However 20 minutes later, Mike Rolandson made a dangerous tackle on Cynric Eden, flipping the Nova English winger. As a consequence, Rolandson put Hamland on the backfoot after being sinbinned for the rest of the half.
Nova England opted for a scrum, driving forward and 5 metres from the try-line, the ball was passed across the field to Skye Bowman who just dashed across Rory Gray to give Nova England a 5-0 lead. Instead of Guivret Jest taking the conversion, Bowman decided to take it himself from 35 yard to the left. And the conversion matched his ambition after comfortably knocking it over to give Nova England a 7-0 lead.
2 minutes later, after the game kicked off again, the referee called for a penalty 45 yards from the tryline right in the centre again after Juan Adamson was believed to have held the ball in the ruck.
Bowman yet again denied Jest from taking it, and the Nova English winger put another one in between the posts to give Nova England a 10-3 lead. That wasn't all, right before the first half drawed to an end, Menzies Ramsay caught the ball off Steve Irvine to knock in a drop goal from 30 yards out to give Hamland a glimmer of hope.
In the second half, Hamland got the upper hand almost immediately as a mistake from Triton Yip allowed Mike Barnes to take the ball at the wing before passing both Skye Bowman and Ruford Dull to score a magnificent try. Menzies Ramsay put the ball over to make it 10-10.
Nova England were quick to respond, gaining a penalty after 2 of Hamland's players were offside, Bowman decided to try another kick - this time from 50 yards out, completely scuffing the ball and almost allowing Hamland to score a try had Mike Barnes didn't get bulldozed off the pitch.
Another penalty went Nova Englands way, with Caradoc Gregorium deciding to tap it for a quick run, before completely screwing it up by running to far forward to dive outside the pitch - a complete waste of a chance.
Hamland made them pay 10 minutes from time with a try from yet again Mike Barnes, who felt on top of the world. Ramsay yet again scored another easy conversion however Hamland forgot it was a competitive match as the whole team decided to switch off, letting Gregorium to amend his mistake from last by running straight through the Hammish back line to make it 15-17, before Guivret Jest taking the ball and knocking it over for 2 points to make it 17-17 apiece.
The match ended all square, which means both teams will get 2 points each, however Hamland thought they could have got 4.
