Heathen! One man's historical inaccuracy is another man's bitter memory.Liam Sinclair wrote:Before you go writing Microscope II, you should be volunteering to go through Microscope I to correct all the spelling/grammar errors and historical inaccuracies that plague that resource
Microscope isn't mine to tamper with, and I don't want to anyway. I found Microscope enjoyable and informative, but that wasn't my time. This is my time. I want to document the time I've spent here!
Batavia it is!Jonas Windsor wrote:Just say Batavia, the Lagerhuis has confirmed it's the official translation of Batavië.

Everything? Actually, a basic list of events would be sweet. Few examples off the top of my head are:
- Lovely's big smash (entry of ALL the new nations, esp. CIS)
- Circum Raynor War
- GSO goes public
That sort of thing.
Also in the style of Scott I want to include little one-page points of interest, things that might not appear in the central "storyline" but which are nonetheless important. For example, I personally want to include something about Micronational Socialism - Fenix put so much effort in, even though it achieved little I think it's worth mentioning outside "There was this German Socialist country called Wachensburg which took up some Euran land after the CIS but before Babkha". Anything anyone would like to see like that, we could put in.

That'd be a re-rise, and a fall. There were some quite famous ones in the past - INS and Millenium News are just the latest two to carry on the Beacon that started probably with whatever Scotts project was called that year, and then Liam Sinclair's Coprietta Standard ...
