[HPI] Expansion
Name & Title: Díapaza Bréidle, Crown of Passio-Corum, Empress of the Sea of Storms, Priestess of Agripinilla
E-Mail/Contact: Discord
Nation: Haifo-Pallisican Imperial Trade Union
Claim:
Notes: The HPI is submitting a re-claim for the following territories:
1. Redwood-Brugge (Western Corum): Among the oldest of all Pallisican trade partnerships, sustained by a thriving Giid-Lisea-Eda ranching industry. Key to supporting the HPI's interests along the Austral Strait and in Western Corum.
2. Bajia-e Ebriahama (Eastern Eura): The largest of all cities affiliated with the Eastern Euran Trade Association/Port of Euranidom. This is the heart of Bassaridia in Eura, and it is odd that of all the region's cities, this one was removed.
3. Domain of the North Antarctic (NAPI): Along with the Wallis Islands, the oldest of all Pallisican/Haifan states in Corum/Eura, and among the first regions to ever participate in the nation's markets. Today the HPI relies on the region for the export of uranium, which power the nation's power plants, and for the chromium which is used in its military hardware.
4. Voorpost and Ghriba and Aghir (Skerry Isles): Key military strongholds strictly controlled by the New Zimian War League. These cities serve as the major commercial and military gateways between Bassarid Eura and Keltia.
5. Chelkran Kesh (West Keltia): A region historically, culturally, and politically indistinguishable from Passas. Chelkran Kesh should, for all intents and purposes, be preserved as a part of Passas, given a shared history which dates back to 2006/2007. Failing to return this land to the HPI would almost assuredly spell the end of Chelkran culture on Micras, and would - interestingly - mark the end of the last non-Passasian member of the Confederacy of Gralus.
6. Tanah-Baru mod: Note that I'm changing the markings around Fort Carol.
7. Eastern Eura Expansion: As part of this claim, I'm also going to volunteer to take up that awkward space in eastern Eura which the HPI lost in a land trade with Hamland. It's been a long time since it was Pallisican land, but given that no one else seems to wants it, and it's kind of ugly, I figured I'd give it a go.

Re: [HPI] Expansion
I'm a bit confused as to what is supposed to count as HPI's development, and what counts as BAS. The categories attached to the articles give the impression that only one article's worth of info has been worked on recently (albeit some fairly substantial work), I don't think it's quite enough at this stage to claim all of this back. ABSTAIN for now, as I'm sure Bijaro might be able to point me in the right direction so I can judge this properly
Re: [HPI] Expansion
BAS and HPI are different nations. I'm somewhat unclear on what category or categories I should look at to determine HPI activity. Hopefully Bijaro can clear that up.
Re: [HPI] Expansion
I'd like to be directed to see HPI's activity. I too find it difficult to assess at this point.
Moreover, the image scale is so small I can't even read placenames etc and check borders to see if it overlaps with other current borders or so. The map needs to be updated before the re-claim can be assessed.

Re: [HPI] Expansion
To clarify some queries:
The full-size map image can be found here: https://micras.org/wiki/images/8/82/Hpireclaim.png
As for activity, the Bassarid categorising is a shambles, so I find it helpful to look at these individual contributions since the reduction, just minus those changes made to "Alperkin" or "Iron Cult of Leng", which are obviously part of another nation.
Given the uptake on activity in the second half of November and the entirety of December, and coupled with this being a partial reclamation of what was forcibly lost, I'm okay with it. The gap-filling on Eura counteracts the gap made on Keltia, so I'm not that hung-up on it. AYE...

Re: [HPI] Expansion
I have to agree with Craitman, I think that Bijaro has put a lot of work and activity back into the Bassarids and that has, for me at least, qualified as justification for them to reclaim these territories. AYE.

Re: [HPI] Expansion
My issue is that a number of the most significant changes are categorised under Alperkin, and therefore should not be considered for this claim.

Re: [HPI] Expansion
Which changes in particular? I can only find the story of "A Shipment of Candy Arrives in Lewisburg" being categorised under "Alperkin" as well as under the "Bassarids" category. The former category doesn't negate the latter, especially given the content of the article; its ties to Alperkin are basically nonexistent, to be fair!
Re: [HPI] Expansion
AYE. The activity Craitman pointed to supports a claim. I'm not keen on the buildup of exclaves again, but at least it's moderate so far. I will be more critical towards exclaves in the future tho.
