We have another hopeful to join the war on the MI side, but he apparently can't. Can someone help him?Gerk wrote:i can't join the mcs forum, due to the fact that the confirmation code picture doesn't show up on my computer, and i've contacted an admin about it, but nobody has gotten back to me.

Is this an entirely new commander or is he already on your orbat? If the former i don't think it's entirely within the rules to add to your orbat after the conflict starts, if the latter then let us hope the admins fix it.
Edit: i don't see him on your orbat so i can only assume you are, possibly illegally, adding more troops after the conflict has begun despite it being a requirement that the final orbats are submitted before the first shots are fired.

No no no, not intentionally at least. We tried adding him at the start, but these problems prevented us. Apparently, we forgot about this problem (our bad, yes) and I tried helping him just today when I saw them and went "whoops!"

What's this Jeremy? When I said something along those lines, Montague said "no, of course new people can join, that's what makes these wars fun" and none of the judges said anything against that ... and anyway, the last war I fought in, Lovely kept bringing new people in, I was working on that assumption when posting Orbats ... there were a couple people we hadn't quite sorted in time, but to let the rest of you guys start on time we went with what we had ...KingJeremy wrote:Is this an entirely new commander or is he already on your orbat? OrBat of Da.Huntsman – The SAS of Novatainia
6 Divisions – Alpha through Foxtrot, can be deployed independently or in any combination. Echo is Air support. Foxtrot is Air Transport.
ALPHA
3 000 x SAS Troopers – 0.6
75 x M1A2 Abrams Tanks – 0.3
BETA
3 000 x SAS Troopers – 0.6
75 x M1A2 Abrams Tanks – 0.3
CHARLIE
3 000 x SAS Troopers – 0.6
75 x M1A2 Abrams Tanks – 0.3
DELTA
3 000 x SAS Troopers – 0.6
75 x M1A2 Abrams Tanks – 0.3
ECHO
30 x Commanche Attack Helicopters – 0.6
20 x Raven Gunship Helicopters– 0.3
FOXTROT – Air Division
20 x C-130 Long Range Hercules Transport Planes – 0.3
30 x UH-1 Iroquois Helos – 0.2
Each Division is divided up into 10 man teams. Each team is equipped with 2 Sniper trained members. Teams can be deployed with or without snipers.
Each deployed sniper is equipped with the same equipment as a standard SAS trooper, except they carry a L96A1 Sniper Rifle with 100 spare rounds in place of the G36C rifle.
All SAS troopers are equipped with the following basic equipment:
- Heckler & Koch G36C w/ 5 spare magazines
- Combat Knife (Soldiers Choice)
- 4 hand grenades
- M92F Handgun w/ 7 spare clips
SAS troops are trained in all types of combat, and are trained as paratroopers as well, so any form of night drop or air deployment is possible.
C-130 Long Range Hercules Transports are set up for night drops and general transport of troops. Extended fuel tanks mean a trip around the globe requires no refueling.
UH-1 Iroquois Helicopters are set up for special forces style drops and insertions including long rope deployment and zip-lining.
Commanches are attack choppers armed with a vulcan cannon, and an assortment of pod-mounted AG/AA penetrator missile systems. Standard defences, including AMS systems.
Raven gunships are heavier choppers than the commanche, carrying nose and door mounted vulcan cannons, and a drop bay for heavy napalm/HE canisters. Alternatively, some carry special EMP charges, which are dropped like a regular canister, but explode in a burst of disabling EMP. Standard missile defenses like the commanche.

I'm getting confused from the Holzer-Landish war then ... they had transport planes but they had a tiny cost ...Lord_Montague wrote:TO ALL NOVATAINIANS
TRANSPORTS DO NOT NEED TO BE INCLUDED IN YOUR ORBAT. SAME FOR SUPPLY SHIPS.
So infantry could just plane anywhere quite easily then, or just between cities? In which case you need transport for anywhere else ....

AFAIK, ship transports are free, but not plane transports. That's how it's always been (IIRC) in the wars Riponia has participated in.Andreas the Wise wrote:I'm getting confused from the Holzer-Landish war then ... they had transport planes but they had a tiny cost ...Lord_Montague wrote:TO ALL NOVATAINIANS
