As His Highness already stated, your ships were in Alexandrian waters, and you have to admit, it is perhaps the foolest thing to do, shooting fireworks in hostile territorry during wartime???!!!A.) Sacrifices for WHAT? The ship was no threat, it was shooting fireworks into the sky amidst the greatest celebration of cultural equality this world has seen in a long time. And you go and waste your own civilians for WHAT cause?
What was the captain thinking? for he is the one that placed all the crew and guests in danger.
Now, I would really appreciate a link to the post where your ships surrendered to Alexandrian Navy, if this doesn't exist, the state of war still prevail and you are still our enemy.
=============================================
Marshal Benavides reviewed the last details for the invasion, and ordered the officers to proceed as scheduled:
***Men, we are taking off tonight heading North and our target is the old town of Poetville, it might look ridicoulus to travel from around the globe to get here, and now we are going back upnorth, personally, I don't give heck, we needed reinforcements and we needed the supplies from this base.
As we speak, the II Infantry brigade is flying to the same spot and rendevouz on Poetville, to prepare for full-scale offensive against Novaitania.
They will regret daring to defy the Grand Imperial Army***
His Imperial Highness, Prince Augusto of Corcovado

Yes, but that doesn't mean you don't still represent NB a lot and certainly didn't try to stop it.
Augusto, did you read? Soro has already surrendered ages ago, but beyond that, we all surrendered, war over. I don't think Passas is Minas Sul, so ... you can't continue fighting if you want to remain the same shape.

Ok, sorry Jeremy. But since you've been King of NB for so long, it's like saying I don't represent Novatainian foreign affairs because I retired and Babs outranks me. It wouldn't stop me interfering in negotiations if they were bad for Novatainia's international standings. This does seem awfully like avoiding political responsibility for avoiding political responsibility ...

Summary:Tying up the loose ends:
Captain Jameson stood at the main access point to the Admiral's yacht. Twenty feet below him, hanging under the hull of the ship the yacht drifted slowly into position. Admiral Smedley sat at the helm, he disengaged the engines and retracted the hydroplanes, and activated the automated docking system. He felt the clunk as the electromagnets engaged, the entire craft was pulled upwards by the fields as they alligned. Two minutes later there was a heavy bang as the yacht locked into its dock. The internal systems deactivated and the lighting level returned to dormant mode. The Admiral walked to the back of the yacht and punched in his access code, the heavy steel doors slid apart revealing the corridor of the Ambassador and and eagerly awaiting Captain Jameson.
"I suppose you've heard the news?" asked the Admiral.
"Yes sir!" replied the Captain.
"It does sound like good news."
"You're not happy sir?"
"Of course I'm happy, peace is always something to be happy about, just remember to take everything you hear with at least a pinch of salt."
"Of course sir."
"We will celebrate as soon as we get full confirmation. For now, we will move into international waters."
"Yes sir, suppose we have some clearing up to do?"
"Indeed. Once President Simonator is back on Riponian soil have the hover landers begin clearing the field, don't want any fishing ships hitting those things."
"And what are our orders sir?"
"Get out into international waters, and set course for home."
>The secret move is called off.
>The second flotilla moves out into international waters and awaits further orders.
>The mines remain dormant, cleanup operations planned for the next few days.

It was getting late, lights out had been an hour ago. All was still as Simon looked out of the camp, they needed their rest before the assault tomorrow. The plan had been circulated, equipment checked, uniforms cleaned. The evening meal had had an air of excitement.
Simon had his usual insomnia before a major operation. His doctor had assured him it was the anxiety, with a slight twinge of guilt, knowing that one of his decisions could cost the lives of fellow Riponians.
Simon nearly jumped out of his seat as his laptop beeped under the seat. Who would be calling him at this time? Folding out the screen, Admiral Mackintosh's face face filled the left half.
"Simon, there you are? Didn't you read the email?"
Glancing at the corner where there was a little red envelope revolving, Simon tried to keep a calm face, red was an urgent message, to be read immediately and acted upon. Not a good thing to miss.
"Erm, yes. Good news?"
Mackintosh rolled his eyes.
"Well anyway, i'll get straight to the point, the enemy has surrendered, you've got 24 hours to get back on Riponian soil before the trouble starts."
This took a moment to register.
"So the war is over?" Simon asked, slightly disappointed, "Damn, i was just starting to enjoy it!"
"Me too, but these things happen. I'll see you back in the cabinet office in a few days for our debrief."
"Righto, i'll send you a memo with the time."
"Ok Mr President. Sir!"
"And stop calling me sir!"
Mackintosh grinned before he shrank out of sight, leaving a revolving Sigma on the screen. Simon shut the lid, there was a slight air of surrealism. He sat in the chair and thought for a moment. He hoped the men wouldn't be too disappointed that they had to up sticks and leave before they got chance for some more action, but if thats how it was...
Opening the screen again, he pressed a small picture of a radio. A black square appeared.
"Admiral Smedley"
The square turned red, then orange, then Smedley appeared, looking a little tired.
"Evening Mr Prez," he started.
"Please call me Simon. Are the hoverlanders availiable?"
"They'll be with you very shortly sir, as per Mackintosh's email."
Simon glanced at where the symbol remained, unopened.
"Excellent, ill get them back to you as soon as possible, i believe you have a minefield to take care of."
"Well it wouldn't look good for international relations to go blowing up ferries now the wars over. We're moving out to international waters, i'll get it done over the next few days."
"Good good, i'll send you a memo with the times of the cabinet meeting for when we get back. Ciao for now."
Smedley waved, before he too shrank out of sight. Prodding another button, Simon called up a map, two red dots were moving toward their position, the hoverlanders were making good time.
Half an hour later they arrived, parking about half a mile from the camp so as not to wake the men, their crews settled down for some rest before the morning. Simon himself settled down for some kip in the commanders tent, he could sleep easier now, knowing that in just a few hours they'd be back on Riponian soil.
Summary: Just some backstory really. I'll move out back to Riponia in the morning.

SummerySir Lawson loved his new desk. He had the perfect place for it and was planing on redecorating the office as soon as he got back to Novatica. Meanwhile the major was washing a ring from the Jewellers rather forcefully.
"You know, that will still be shiny." said Lawson, who was watching with amusement.
"Not after what I did to it." replied the Major
"What? Why?"
"I didn't pay for this."
"So how did you get it past the NB customs fellas?"
"Rather not say sir..." he went back to cleaning the ring.
Sir Lawson shuddered as he saw what looked like a speck of brown on the mostly clean ring.
"Well, back to Novatica. Wonder how its changed..."
"I hear they have a CDZ there now"
"Excellent!"
"Sir, do you think they'll give you a promotion?"
"Doubt it, but you never know."
The two men sat in silence as their convoy made its way back to Novatica. Back home.
Finishing the story
The Major smuggled a ring out of NB in a disgusting manner...

I hereby formally withdraw complaints about the attack on our navies near Minas Sul, allowing Montague to continue with the casualties he had. As we are no longer restricted by OrBats, the defenses in the City of Chelkra kick in, shooting down all incoming bombs and missiles from Swamp Candle BUT NOT HIS AIRCRAFT.
Meanwhile, with some help, my navy returns to Minas Sul (even the "sunken" Reducto through means entirely belonging to our guild ) and my Chelkran all band together on the wharf. All are invited to:
THE CHELKRAN HEAVY METAL MOSH PIT! It will be running for 3 straight days, and if you think won't die in the mosh pit under the feet of Chelkran (8' 500lb behemoths), you're free to come! The list of bands includes:
Children of Bodom
SLAYER
TRASHER
Lamb of God
All Shall Perish
Pantera
Cannibal Corpses
She, The Murderess
Rumpelstiltskin Grinder
Three Inches of Blood
Dragonforce
Manowar
Celtic Frost
AND MORE!
So come join the havoc on the Minas Sul docks!
All those injured will be taken by chopper to the nearest hospital.
