Happy Hanukkah!
חנוכה שמח- Hanukkah Sameach!
Just thought I'd wish people a Happy Hanukkah.
I also enclose an amusing picture of a Russian Menorah for whoever wants to see one.

That's hilarious. Sometimes I'm happy stereotypes are basted in fact.

Stoli is not real vodka. Even the Russians drink Grey Goose!

Re: Happy Hanukkah!
Stolnichnaya may be awful compared to some of the really good Russian Vodkas, but it's a fair sight better than the Vodka most people buy in Britain.
Re: Happy Hanukkah!
What do you buy in Britain? You would think you'd get better stuff being closer to France (Grey Goose), Sweden (Skyy) and Russia (Stoli).

Smirnoff dear boy... for our sins it is the market leader in this country.
Re: Happy Hanukkah!
Smirnoff may be a travesty to vodka, but their Ice line of alco-pops is a god send to college kids with no game everywhere.

Good old plum brandy moonshine. I was once sent a bottle from Banja Luka, a great place apparently for hooch and illegally copied CDs & DVDs.

Ban'ska Slivovica rocks... And people who drink more than a quarter (I mean ćwiartka, 1/4 of a litre) are just masters...
My father was on a conference and shared a room in a hotel with someone from Podhale (southern part of Poland, mountainous area)... Mountaineer drank polish Slivovica (more than 70%) in cups...

What's that Vodka that's really popular in Southern England at the moment? It's Polish and has a Green label with a Bison on it

Re: Happy Hanukkah!
You mean Żubrówka (Żubr is in polish 'bison')... One of our most widely known export products ^^
