When did 'cods leg' get changed to 'off-topic?!

Please add 'cods leg' back in there somewhere... even if its 'cods leg - off topic' or something. c'mon!

Well I was all for Norton Lounge again.

I'd vote for the return of the Norton Lounge too.

'lounge' or 'off-topic' sounds so boring.. and parts of this hobby are boring enough without making off-topic plain. Make general discussion a lounge?

Yeah, if it was due to lack of explanation, then a good substitution is 'cods leg - off topic chat in the description'. I really think these things should go through the council. Not be changed just because some people say it is.. and cause no-one else reads that topic, they don't get a say.

Abuse of process scandal #65436536: alterations to board names should go through "the council" (the what? This is not the MCS anymore...) And I have no idea at all how the argument "and cause no-one else reads that topic, they don't get a say" works out - people who don't read things should be entitled to have their say on them?!

Also, this was first raised as part of the new forum plans two months ago to the day and no-one made any comment at all.

Well there should be a council. It should of never changed in the first place.. but whatever. Oh.. and where was that thread that got no comment?.. what?! In that board?..And the point was put between a load of other points? Be nice if any suggested changes were posted somewhere where busy people had time to read them.. before just being changed.

Personally, I gave up going to that part of the board during these 'changes' cause people are so adimant at changing pointless things that they will change them no matter how odd the suggestions sound or how uneeded the change is. Then if I say they're uneeded.. I get shouted at.

PS. If people made no comment at all on it changing.. why was it even changed?!

And like I said, Spangle must've changed the name from Cod's Leg...

I was told to change the name by Guido, who said everyone had agreed on it because that's what the thread said.
