Onwards and upwards!
It's my great honour and privilege to have been elected as the new Administrator-General of the MCS after a long and distinguished reign by Craitman. Just last month, I celebrated (albeit in a rather muted fashion) 10 years as a member of the Council, and have worked closely with almost all sectors of the community, always with Craitman's elder-statesmanlike guiding hand, and I sincerely hope that his wealth of knowledge will remain available to be called upon when needed.
I've never actively sought the position that I now find myself in. Quite the opposite in fact, I'd hoped that Craitman would outlast me, but alas, here we are! If I can achieve even a fraction of what he has, then I'll be very happy indeed.
I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone in the community, past and present, when I say thank you for the last 13 years, and all the best for the future, whatever it brings.
It almost seems perverse to go back to business after all that, but the vacancy, left by Craitman's resignation, and mine and Edgard's resulting role changes, will need to be filled, so I'd like to invite applications to become the Council's next Junior member. If you wish to be considered, please submit a brief paragraph (or paragraphs) on what you think you'd bring to a Council role. Applications received by 23:59 (anywhere in the world) on Wednesday 10th May will be most gratefully received.

Hell, why not. I’ve been on the Council before, though I’ll forgive everyone for not remembering since I spent most of the time sitting on my hands while the charter was being reviewed. I haven’t been terribly active during school, but I’m always lurking, watching, and plotting. One thing I can confidently say I haven’t done much of is engage in community politics. I’m more concerned with maintaining a healthy, young, and diverse array of participants in our bizarre little project. As a matter of fact, I’d far prefer one of our newer contributors take up the reins than see me or any of the rest of the old guard elevated. But, with that said, I do love the MCS and serving in its Council will always be an honor and privilege in my eyes. Whoever gets the gig, I wish you well in continuing the proud tradition of thanklessly maintaining this beautiful mess of an internet gem.
Re: Onwards and upwards!
There will be, most likely, much stronger candidates than me and maybe it won't be totally appropriate given the short time that has passed since my join on Micras, but I'm here anyway.
The only project I started here was Vegno a year and a few months ago, first with the collaboration of some friends and now it's practically just me to manage it.
However, I believe, in this rather limited time, that I have managed to give a good development to my micronation and make it a good participant and integrated within the MCS, above all at a sporting level, guaranteeing, despite some some stressful periods, a good constancy in my presence.
I found myself very well since my arrival in the community and I almost immediately tried to get involved in it, such as the Formula Micras championship which, despite some little delays, I believe can be considered a good success and I think has had a good response from the community.
I know that a role in the council could probably be seen as premature or having candidates who are clearly more experienced or present for much longer, but nevertheless I would like to be able to lend a hand at this level as well. Either way, good luck to whoever takes this seat.

Calbion supports Luca's application.

I'll just make do away with the formalities and withdraw my candidacy. Luca is the guy for the job. Full stop. The future looks bright for MCS!

Re: Onwards and upwards!
Congratulations, Luca. My only regret will be never actually working alongside you in the Council!
Re: Onwards and upwards!
Thanks to both of you and also to the whole council for the trust.
I'll try to do my best in this new role.
