Technically the results were even worse for the LimDems than projected, so he doesn't have to.joefoxon wrote:Will you eat Paddy Ashdown's too, because I don't think he wants his?

I've just finished week one of a three month ish residential training program. I don't expect to be active much, which says something compared to my present lack of activity.

Update: This is now booked and confirmed from 26 July - 1 August. Also shortly after I'll be in Bulgaria again, but that'll be for much shorter than last year and also I now have internet at the house there so I should be able to contribute as normal.Senya wrote:Also, for a future notice, I'm in the process of booking a holiday to Norway at the end of July/early August to see some friends, and if that goes ahead I'll be offline for a week.
Re: The LOA Thread
Having some technical problems with my wireless set up. Seems to be working for every computer on our network except mine. Unfortunatly, my laptop is my only way to access online forums (college blocks them, bah!), which is extremely annoying. I can plug the ethernet cable directly into the laptop, but that denies Internet to every other computer on the network, which means I can (for now at least), only browse the internet at 11pm (British time).
For those wanting the Women's World Cup scores, FM is working, which means those games have all been simmed, and I will upload reports when I can get online.
OOC: If anyone is a computer wizz and knows how to fix this, please tell me!

Not only is this now happening, my flight leaves in 12 hours :p Will probably spend all of 26 July off (UTC), and for about a week after that (for reasons that will be obvious for those who have seen my latest facebook status will know), my access to the internet will be sketchy after that.Senya wrote:I'm in the process of booking a holiday to Norway at the end of July/early August to see some friends, and if that goes ahead I'll be offline for a week.
I return and will be in the UK on 2 August, but the following day I'm off to Bulgaria for two weeks, but I should have internet there.
tl;dr: I won't be online between 26 July - 1 August to deal with MCS stuff.
Re: The LOA Thread
Okay so I had my bag stolen in Norway which had my adapter in it (thankfully nothing too important, but still annoying), so I wasn't able to access the internet whilst there. Back now though. Won't be going to Bulgaria though now, so I'm back on like normal for the rest of the summerSenya wrote:I return and will be in the UK on 2 August, but the following day I'm off to Bulgaria for two weeks, but I should have internet there.
Re: The LOA Thread
Apologies about my absence this month, been back at college, I swear work's been piling up more than previously. Hopefully I've got a little free time this weekend which I can use to work on Micras stuff.

Re: The LOA Thread
Not really an LOA, just a notification of potential activity inability, but we're currently switching broadband providers, so don't have any solid connection. Not sure when the new connection's going to be put in exactly, but it looks like about a week's worth of accessing stuff on my mobile (horrible small screen hopeless for anything other than typing) or tethering (everything loading painfully slowly), so I'm expecting to not be as productive until that changes
Re: The LOA Thread
So Exam season is kicking in so I'm going to be spending more and more time revising than being about online. Exams begin on 9 June and end on 23 June, but until that latter date I'll be offline quite a bit. I will try and keep up to date with important decisions as and when I can, but in the meantime, I'll be off.
Re: The LOA Thread
Stupidly did forget to post here that I'd be off on holiday but I'm flying back to Norwich on Friday where normal activity should resume.
Re: The LOA Thread
Oh yeah, I should probably mention that I'm in Italy until thursday.
