Resigning as council member
I step back as council member, as a result of this Ric will be my successor. It has been a pleasure to serve as council member, but for months my interest in micronations has declined. I don't see this changing in the foreseeable future.

Re: Resigning as council member
I'd like to take this time to thank you for your (second) spell on the Council, and I hope your other endeavours spark more joy for you than this place has been doing!
Ric is now promoted to a full Council member (a role he has already taken advantage of with a sneaky vote submission, I see) and the MCS shall open-up applications for the vacated Junior position in the coming days...

Re: Resigning as council member
Applications are now open for the MCS's new Junior Council member. They will remain open for the next week - closing on March 29th - and any interested individuals have the usual requirements to fulfil:
Applicants should, in no more than 500 words, summarise why they believe they are a suitable candidate for the Junior Council member position and specify any individual skills which could come in handy for any prospective future projects.
Good luck!

Re: Resigning as council member
So this is my application. I think I would make a good Council member. I'm not an anxious boy anymore, and I think I'm more mature and laid back in my dealings than I was a while back. I'm also a trained GIS (geographic information systems) engineer, which I use to produce maps for Sanama. Who knows, that might come in handy in the future. I've also been around for a long time, so I have a bit of experience and perspective. I'm also bribable, which is nice.
That's about it.
That's about it.
Re: Resigning as council member
I use QGIS, and I have the claimsmap georeferenced. It's a bit janky of course, but it did help with creating the base maps for Sanama, as well as allow things like proper measuring.
Re: Resigning as council member
Hit me up on the Discord server or PM and I'll walk you through it.
Re: Resigning as council member
I have applied for the Junior council member position of the MCS as I have experience of learning how the MCS works in my three years of being in the Micrasian community and decent skills at creating map claims. I feel that I should be really more involved in the community and I feel that this would be a great opportunity to do so.

The MCS Council has deliberated, and is proud to announce that Malliki will be our new Junior member!
We would like to thank Edwin for his interest as well; while a valuable asset to the community, it wasn't his time this time around...
