Spectrum of editability
Ok, I said about this in the FedCom thread but meh, let's make a separate thread for it
These are the options as I see them, from least control by users to most control by users:
1 )People suggest updates here and I manually update the entries, this is the current system
2 )A system for people to suggest updates on the pages that need editing and I get the notification and I manually update it.
3 )A system where people suggest updates and I then click a button to enable them on admin panel
4 )A system where people suggest updated and I can then click a button to remove the update if it's offensive/incorrect etc
5 )People set a password for their nation and can then edit the entry (like the MNN directory, I dislike this system as CIS site was changed to porn and no one had the password)
6 )People register a username and password and can then be added to nations which they can edit.
7 )People register a username and password and can then edit any nation.
8 )Anyone can edit any nation.
I just added option 4
I meant to add it earlier
ok, and a poll
