Re: List of Possibly Dead Nations
Most of what I've seen there have officially announced their deaths anyway. Although Al-Edirna and Taeland are part of Interland and Hamland, respectively...

I can't see why Edirna wasn't declared dead months ago... I think I did announce that...

Nobody told Spangle to switch its classification to dead, I guess.

Holzborg should be re-marked as alive, plus there's a new forum: http://dasholzerreich.proboards.com/index.cgi

What happened to Taesong near middle Korea in the St Fenix days? I remember that it was dying back when I was in Matbaa, and we sent in some special ops teams for some reason that I can't remember in "operation plastic egg"

Re: List of Possibly Dead Nations
Taesong ended-up as a Riponian territory and left the map when they died. Hieu's still around every now and again, he's had a few stints with some nations (notably Tellia and Amoria) but is now only really seen when there's any football happening
Re: List of Possibly Dead Nations
I've always thought that it would be good to leave a few cities on the map of major nations that have died, so that new nations could incorporate them into their own. For example, in Ashkenatza I was thinking of adding union city and matbaa city and germanifying the names somewhat to add some historical flavour.

Which is pretty much exactly why we leave "ruins" on the mapAster wrote:I've always thought that it would be good to leave a few cities on the map of major nations that have died, so that new nations could incorporate them into their own.
Aren't the Matbaa City ruins in Alexandrian land now though?
Re: List of Possibly Dead Nations
Well, yes when we moved down there. But when we initially started and when Benecia was filled with CIS states, we were located were Ashkenatza is now. Benecia seems to have always been dominated by Shireroth in the east - the west just seems to have been a melting pot of short lived nations...until now

Re: List of Possibly Dead Nations
spangle... why not just move all nations with 3 months of no activity to the dead list ? and send you the list of nations being moved. that way, you can simply state a post saying these nations are now considered dead unless otherwise objected by someone.
that way its more automatic than us having to go through the list now and then.

Yeah, I keep meaning to do that
could easily make it part of the activitycheck system.
Will do so eventually, but the forumless nations are still confusing that way

Last time I checked, it was the ultimate Forumlist. If they have no forum, delete themdr-spangle wrote:Will do so eventually, but the forumless nations are still confusing that way
