Batavia remains neutral for the time being. On order from the National Government we have changed our mobilisation status from 'normal' to 'standbye' and have recalled an additional ten thousand (10000) soldiers.
2 divisions (2500 men) have been ordered to the nothern borders to secure them. In Batavorum has been setup a temporary commando post for the Commander of the Armed Forces.

You imagine that we would randomly invade a country we have no knowledge of? We haven't launched an "invasion" of any other nation ever and we don't plan to start any time soon rest assured.Jonas Windsor wrote:Under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Jonas Windsor the 1st Reservist Division arrive at the island Los Bananos to protect the coast against a possible invasion from Bosworth.

But after we declare war you could invade Los BananosKingEdward wrote: You imagine that we would randomly invade a country we have no knowledge of? We haven't launched an "invasion" of any other nation ever and we don't plan to start any time soon rest assured.
It isn't fair that you don't accept war declarations...

It wouldn't matter if you where larger or not. I thought some nations would help Bosworth.KingEdward wrote:I'm sorry that we don't jump at the idea of being attacked by random nations, you'll just have to find another small nation to attack.

Edward, this is why I said to do this thing properly and not make a random post saying "we're plonking our ships here, they have big guns, no one come near." If we're doing this non-chartered, then anybody is as free as you to say "well, I'm moving my army into this green coloured nation here because I don't like their ships being over there." In effect, no declaration of war is needed - you have invited anybody interested to invade you because you have brought yourself into a state of war.KingEdward wrote:I'm sorry that we don't jump at the idea of being attacked by random nations, you'll just have to find another small nation to attack.
Alternatively, if we're playing by an actual charter that's not ADB or ZRS (which Shireroth isn't in anyway), then you can't just say "we're putting our ships here." You have to officially declare war first, or join the fight of two nations already in a state of war IF one of them invites you in. That is how recwar charters work. If you didn't want to be invaded, you shouldn't have sent your ships to stop two perfectly respectable and capable recwarring nations from having a bloodthirsty fight to the death, as is their right as sovereign nations. You do realise, I hope, that you've caused an awful lot of madness that would have been avoided if you'd first let NB and Shireroth declare war on eachother like gentleman, agree to a charter and terms, perpare orbats appropriate to the charter, and then joined as a peacekeeper?

Are we getting a war here or not? I sort of need to know being a judge and all and knowing when to open the battleground thread.
How are things going in Shireroth, the Brittanic Empire and Bosworth? (and I would advise Bosworth along the same lines as Andreas)
