explain why you were planning to claim for shireroth then essentially give them the land using some complicated non-understandable legal setup that only shireroth could think up.
It's funny because it's true, unlike most of what Babs says, which is just plain hilarious.

Because I, personally, want to protect cultural land. The Commonwealth of Batavia is a good way to do that. I didn't know the Apollo Foundation was a puppet too.Guido Zambelis wrote:not a puppet?!

We have hardly fought and the one time we used our fleet, in the beginning, I said later it didn't count. From the start Batavia have been an irritation to all sides with their amazing warships that can apparently move a thousand miles in a matter of seconds and your less than realistic and questionably existant air defence systems. We'd all be better off if this just ended.
So you find it normal you can fly to the hearth of our country, the capital? When the whole army is ready to attack and defend the country?
I can even try to find an (old) topic from myself where I wrote (begin 2007) about a defence line at our coast.

You see there are these things called air to surface missiles which can be fired from a great distance off, hence we never had to actually fly over land to begin with.Jonas Windsor wrote:So you find it normal you can fly to the hearth of our country, the capital? And if the entire army is defending your coast and capital, how are they also occupying half of Gascony at the same time?

Babs, right there you show yourself to completely misunderstand what's at stake, which means you can't hope to actually understand what's going on at the present time.babs wrote:WTPRH!?
How is the AF a puppet? We didn't say you were a puppet because you were 'trying to preserve land' I sai-
Oh whatever. I give up.
The AF is for preserving dead nations, correct? Can the the AF any longer preserve land? No, it has been stripped of virtually all it's power (see my description in the visit post, which Vilhelm called "scarily accurate"). So Batavie ... or more correctly, the Commonwealth would like to protect some of the land. Did any of you even pay enough attention to Batavie to realise they're actually a collection of states like Gralus?
And Guido, no, the Commonwealth does not plan to give land to Shireroth. The last person who planned to give land to Shireroth was stopped by me because of the implications and the certainty the council wouldn't accept it. The Commonwealth, as far as I can tell, merely wishes to preserve culture past. This sector seems to be under the impression that all decent culture of the Apollo Secotor implicitly belongs to Shireroth, despite the Erik's continued protests that we are not the Apollo Sector, nor ever intended to be. If Gralus can do archaeology in Jasonia (and be blessed by its founder) I don't see why Batavie can't preserve some land with historical significance ...

It isn't, Jeremy, but Guido and Babs bought it up with crazy puppet accusations (see here, btw) and we were just clarifying ..

I second what Guido said. And Babs, truly the right decision.
Guido, the scheming is going quite well, Ari's kicked us off Shireroth's forum so I created a new proboards one - but no one seems eager to move.
This Maraguo thing will be fun, but I don't know who you're really kidding if you're saying the primary focus is the preservation of culture.

*blink*
You just said I'm right. I must be way off. Or maybe I've grown up a bit. Nah, it's the first one.
