First I say that it makes me angry that Shireroth are so aggressive against a smaller nation who have made no fault, but it takes us more courage to admit that it is over than to carry on for reasons we do not have.
Enemy forces will please remove themselves from Bosworth and may we forget this despicable part. The Contracting Parties: In order to promote international co-operation and to achieve international peace and security Agree to this Treaty of Capitulation on the part of the Kingdom of Bosworth to the Imperial Republic of Shireroth.
Article One.
That with the signing of this agreement all hostilities between the Imperial Republic of Shireroth and the Kingdom of Bosworth shall cease.
Article Two.
Bosworth, recognising that it is entirely at fault for initiating this unfortunate conflict by its rash and unjust interventions in the affairs of other sovereign nations, shall consent to abide by the decisions of the Imperial Government, representing the victors, and to recognise and to observe whatever conventions may be imposed by said victors.
Article Three.
The Imperial Government shall install in the Duchy of Gascony a Shirerithian of noble rank therein to administer and oversee the pacification of the said territory and to ensure that it shall not be used as a platform for any future offensive actions against Shireroth or any of its allied powers. Thereafter administrative control shall revert to Bosworth. During the whole period the Duchy shall remain a portion of the territory of Bosworth. The Imperial Government does not seek the permanent annexation of Gascony.
Article Four.
As an act of atonement for initiating the naval battles of May 14-15 2008 Bosworth shall surrender intact the entirety of its navy in tact to the Port of Musica, Yardistan, and thereafter surrender control of such vessels to the Ministry of Military Affairs of the Imperial Government. Vessels shall be surrendered intact, allowing for such war damage that has occurred prior to the capitulation. This transfer of naval assets shall occur no later than June 29 2008.
Article Five.
The Imperial Government reserves whatever powers it shall deem necessary to ensure the adherence of Bosworth to the preceeding articles.
Article Six.
The person of King Edward shall remain at Shirekeep at the pleasure of His Imperial Majesty until such time as the terms of this capitulation have been complied with fully by the Bosworth Government.
Article Seven.
Violation of any of the above articles by Bosworth of any subject of King Edward shall result in the resumption of hostilities and or the forefiture of Gascony to Shireroth.
Article Eight.
The Shirerithian version of this text shall be considered to be authentic.
Signatures of ratification shall be deposited at the Ministry of External Affairs, Shirekeep.
Done at Shirekeep on the date indicated in a single copy which will remain deposited in the archives of the Imperial Government.
Signed,
Roi Dominique I de Le Royaume de Bosworth

That's a really well done treaty. Exceptionally well done, actually. Good work.
Course, I'm only minister for Trade and can't make any official comments on it ...

Signed,
Ardashir Khan
Khan of Vijayanagara
Minister of Military Affairs
The Ministry of Military Affairs hereby assumes responsibility for the transitional arrangements. It wishes the following points to be known.
1. It is not acceptable for Bosworth, even at this late stage to protest its innocence whilst signing a document confirming its guilt.
a. The Imperial Shirerithian Government calls therefore for King Dominique to withdraw the following statement:
2. In accordance with Article Three I appoint Jacobus Loki as Warden of the Gascon Marches for an initial term of six months. If progress towards a lasting settlement has been deemed as satisfactory then administrative control shall revert to Bosworth. If not then the term of Warden of the Gascon Marches shall be renewed for another six months. This process shall be repeated until such time as conditions are deemed to be satisfactory.First I say that it makes me angry that Shireroth are so aggressive against a smaller nation who have made no fault, but it takes us more courage to admit that it is over than to carry on for reasons we do not have.
3. An Imperial Proconsul shall be provided from the offices of MoMA to ensure an orderly demilitarisation of the Duchy of Gascony.
4. MoMA invites the armed forces of Batavia to remain in situ as per previous bi-lateral arrangements to prevent any lapse into lawlessness and anarchy in the territories they presently occupy.
5. Nothing in this statement shall infringe or set a limit upon the powers awarded to the Imperial Republic of Shireroth under Article Two of the Capitulation Text.
6. It shall be deemed that where Article Six refers to King Edward it shall be interpreted as meaning the present head of state in the Kingdom of Bosworth with all responsibilities and obligations therein being transfered onto the afforementioned office holder.
I can not believe I am reading this. We will withdraw the statement but I cannot say in English how angry I am now and warn the more you humilier us the less we will help you. A civil authority is sent from Aquitaine to Gascony to look after rebuilding, it will be as was before a demilitarised zone.
Nobody is humiliating you. You signed the treaty, Shireroth can place whoever they like in Gascony, and act within the boundaries of the treaty in order the fulfill it, in accordance to the treaty which you signed.
Nobdoy forced you to.

I know well it is not real, Monsieur. La France is ashamed of our capitulation and then I made to sign this then it is the same to me and I feel the same shame that La France felt and still feels. Germany deserve Versailles for the damage that they did to Belgique and La France, Bosworth did not invade other country and little damage did we do.

And little damage was done to you - be thankful this was a relatively bloodless war. Some orbatted units were damaged, but I think there was more damage to to bosworthians by Edward telling them to suicide and Joe napalming them than by Shirithian forces asking them to capitulate ...
When I had to surrender I'd had people slaughter 100 000 of my utterly defenceless civilians, my capital was being attacked from a thousand miles away ...

Bloodless? Our cities are ruins! Thousands are dead! Bosworth we only ever attack military things and I have not myself attacked anything and yet I must suffer this and I did not know much about war until today! The suicide was little deaths compared to all the civilians, real or not it is not acceptable to look like supporting murder of innocent people.

Maybe I misread the war thread. I really didn't read many times the Shirithians posted about thousands dead .... or even the Bosworthians posted losses ...

Oh for Christ's sake.
IT IS NOT REAL
Nobody is dead, so don't go comparing it to real life wars where millions upon millions lost their lives. Don't relate it to real life, especially WW1 because it is so incredibly different to that especially.
Real life France has nothing to be ashamed of and neither does Bosworth. You fought valiantly, but at the end of the day, you lost, and treaties have to be adhered to, regardless of how embarrassing they are for the concerned party.
There is a difference between humiliation and embarrassment.
