King Hasan I of Bosworth

Kaiser Hasan I wrote:Babkhans excel at three things: Law, War and Intrigue. And I believe both Ardashir and Myself have proven to make Shireroth a slightly more interesting place as a result of our successes in these fields.
Yet in reality, you've turned this war into an unmitigated disaster, driven Shireroth's reputation into the ground and made you all look like fools.

Fortunately Babs, no one respects you or your opinion so your uninvited commentary has little influence on anything. Don't get me wrong, comments made by the "Beaugium War Cabinet" from the peanut gallery are entertaining, they just have no value what so ever.

So Babs, going to lead the expedition on Jeremy = Edward = Dominique first?babs wrote:Officially, as there was a period where Bosworth and Shireroth were both ruled by the same leader, there should be some official investigation.

the rule says 'Leader' not HoS. the position you described is undoubtedly that of leader. however, i though Ardy had taken the throne?
I agree, I still refuse to accept that the situation is not in breach of the rules until there is no Shiritian/Batavian/whoever presence in the monarchy/government of Bosworth.

Alright, it's time to get agitated, then.
"No, mom, I didn't take the cookie from the cookie jar, my hand did."
"No, sir, I'm not head of state to two nations, I added a few words to the name of the position in one of them."
I just can't believe this. At least we were legally entitled to do the "well, you said we could do what we like, so I guess we might just as well kick you on the nuts every five minutes for the next couple of weeks" thing. It was a display of overblown machismo and tactlessness worthy of Diga himself, but at least the other side had said we can do it. I can approciate that. It's certainly brought us interesting times in Shireroth, in the faux-ancient Chinese curse sense.
But this? Are you seriously trying to work around MCS regulations with wordplay? What were you *thinking*? Of all of the possible solutions... You could have declared Ardashir king and allowed things to just proceed at their own pace. You could have declared that your rule is strictly a part of the recwar. You could have declared Wentworth king, walked away, and saved us an enormous amount of trouble. And instead... you walked up to the MCS and just spat in its face.
I implore you... just... stop. Please. Don't declare "once this is over, I'll step down and hand the kingdom over to Wentworth". Don't declare a date when that will happen. Don't wait for the Landsraad to petition you about it. Just get the hell out of Bosworth before you hurt Shireroth more.
That so? Let me elaborate, then.Kaiser Hasan I wrote:Its always a pleasure.

Ari,
Your point is valid, but arguing "Reductio ad Diga" isn't necessary.
